The room was good as expected, and the service was decent for a hotel in this range. However, there were a few major issues. The balcony door was not working, which was quite inconvenient.
The biggest problem came during check-out. I had cancelled my earlier booking (which did not include breakfast) and rebooked by paying the full amount that included breakfast. Despite this, the hotel still charged me extra for breakfast.
The front desk service was extremely disappointing. Even after showing them both booking details, they failed to recognize which booking was cancelled. They simply blamed MMT. Later, when I contacted MMT, they confirmed the error was not on their side and compensated me with a booking voucher.
I travelled across Munnar, Thekkady, and Kochi, and everywhere else I experienced warm and wonderful hospitality. Unfortunately, because of this hotel’s poor handling, I had to reduce my Kerala tour from 10 days to 8 days.
