Review Of Hotel Fort Palace

Hotel under renovation, so expect a lot of dust and noise in the daytime. No buffet breakfast was available even though added while booking by MMT. Only 1 dosa was provided, which didn't taste well, stating only 2 rooms were booked.

This was my worst experience ever. I don’t understand why MakeMyTrip is handling things like this. When I arrived, the hotel was under renovation — full of dust and workers. I raised a complaint regarding this, but no further action was taken from MakeMyTrip’s side.

Renovation is going on which caused a lot of discomfort. I was not informed by makemytrip that renovation is going on. Hotel guys did tell me that renovation is going on while checking-in, but it was too late for making alternate arrangements. Food was good..

Fort hotel is undergoing renovation, consider alternative accommodations to avoid dust and night time noise.

Room 105. I have attached the images here. It’s self explanatory. The ceiling was leaking due to rain. Room Telephone was not working. In Restaurant, no one is there for taking orders (images attached)

Stay was good and the staff was excellent but the bathroom could have been taken care of, there where moulds near the extra loud exhaust fans. Besides that they stay was 5 star

No proper maintanence in Bathrooms... Overall ambience also should improve... Works happening hope will improve in coming days.. Food is Good... Bar Facility is Good...

The property is in prime location. Ame ities services are very good. Staff Behaviour is extremely polite and courteous.

Overall it was good. Some construction work was going on with loud noise, no lift so i had to climb stairs with heavy luggage, bed sheets and other covers could have been a litlle more cleaner.

Fort palace hotel stay was really good. Staffs were very approachable all time. Restaurant food was more than expected. It exceeded our expectations.

I have a sprained leg, and I hunted for a hotel with an elevator facility in Palakkad, and found this place called Hotel Fort Palace, as it is almost impossible for me to climb stairs. However, upon reaching the destination past midnight, I found out that the hotel is undergoing renovation and the elevator has been dismantled! I had no option, given the time of the day and my circumstances but to climb three flights of stairs to get to the room assigned to me. The room itself was okay, and the staff was respectful and concerned, but the agony caused by the hotel's sheer oversight regarding not updating their services situation is totally unpardonable. Ideally, a full refund should happen, but if that's not possible, I'd still say this is unforgivable, to say the least.
