Review Of Hotel Golden Fish (Pure Veg)

Hotel was quite cozy and clean. The owner was extremely courteous. Children enjoyed the stay a lot. One of the best hotels in my many trips. Special thanks to mmt to provide such a value for money hotel in their bouquet.

There are lots of issue in this hotel. When we enter in the room is not clean, floor was wet, electricity is not there, WiFi is not available in this property. Geyser is not working whole time till we stay in this hotel.

Manager and staff are friendly and helpful quality and taste of food is good nice rooms with scenic views of the valley

As per cost service was not up-to mark.

Facilities are average and rooms are average but manageable for short stay. There was a very less staff and hense was taking a long time for any service. Though it was written a vegetarian hotel they were serving non vegetarian food to the guests.

Warm experience in cold weather. Good food though veg, and rooms are pretty clean. Good view in the front and small shops nearby for daily necessity items. View points are also not much far. Good road conditions not to be expected

The hotel is very ordinary with minimal facilities. Rooms are small. Amenities are poor. Non-veg food is not available. Only the staff are very well behaved and helpful. The reception is very small and dirty.

Not as per expected ... Actually location is good but service is not so impressive ... Food quality is poor ... Expensive ... Room are not so clean ... Much problem with hot water ... Cleanliness is poor ...

Average rooms. Room outside hotel on ground floor was good. Food was average but location was nice. They didn't allowed us to go on terrace. You can take jackets, gum boots and gloves from the shop in front of hotel

Rooms are spacious & clean. We got a room with very good view. Food is simple but very tasty. Staff are very nice. High levels of hospitality. Facilities & rooms are basic. But at such remote locations it's more than enough to have a comfortable stay. I would recommend it to any traveler.

Please do not expect much at the place like Lachung. It's very remote from the worldly affairs. The hotel provides all the basic facilities. The view from the front rooms is awesome. One can watch the snow covered mountain tops even in May. The staff and manager is also very courteous. Food is also good. All and all a nice experience at the place like Lachung, though it is costly as compared to other places.

It was excellent stay. Staff was very cooperative. It's value for money. Location was very good. View from hotel was superb. Food quality was very good. Staff services was excellent. Overall very good experience.

Positives - cleanliness in both rooms as well as overall common area. - responsive and helpful staff. - tasty & warm food. - clean & warm beds. - clean and spacious washroom with hot water available. - nice surroundings. - good views. Areas of development - room heater not provided in the room (I understand it needs to be asked for but I didn't even know about it). - one of our rooms had a stinking smell from outside (we had blocked 3 rooms). - we stayed there for 2 nights but on one night there was no electricity in the hotel and very limited backup was there at the hotel (one light in room and 1 in washroom but we none of the sockets worked). Verdict - very good hotel overall considering location and value for money.

The hotel is great. The room provided by hotels were awesome. The manager of hotel is nice person. The food provided by hotel was great. It is situated 2 km from Lachung but it doesn't matter as their is nothing as such in Lachlan. The rooms were quite spacious. For double seater room, there were two double beds present in room. Happy with service

Food was good. Rooms were satisfactory. Not much channels in TV. Not required also. Staff were cooperative. Pure veg hotel which was very good. Only thing comode helper was not working. But in this remote area hotel is good for staying with family.

Hotel was average but you don't have much options in Lachung. Staff was good and always available for the support. Food was good, options available for kids as well. They serve hot food to all the guests and take care of guest's choices. They also serve tea, milk whenever ask for.

Good Hotel at Lachung and very good homely veg food. Service is good ... Just need to pay 300 per night for heater. Whether was changing daily over here so be careful while going to Lachung. Ideally it should be included in package in all season :)

We felt one of the horrible experience while check-in. Receptionist even don't have our hotel booking information and we waited 2 hours standing outside the hotel to get issue cleared between MakeMyTrip and hotelier. This is definitely a miscommunication between MakeMyTrip and hotelier. MakeMyTrip is equally responsible for this issue. But I must say though with limited choice/type of food in the hotel, taste & quality was very good.

Lachung is more like a village, hotel like Golden Fish is really acceptable in this location. The hotel is clean but the blankets were smelling. The room staff changed that on request. The food was so good, getting home like food in this location is really surprising. But the same time I found it costly, they charged me Rs. 200 per plate. On seeing the condition of other hotels of Lachung, I seriously recommend Golden fish to others.
