Nice rooms,. good location. Few minor issues. Bathroom floor was slippery. Windows don't have grills and window doors can't be locked. unsafe for small children.

Average Stay
The property had no restaurant and basic in room amenities like tea, coffee etc. Even there was no cutlery for food from outside. Also, the shower in washroom was not working properly. The property though clean has to provide facilities for tea/coffee inside the room for the charges incurred.

Far off from City ... Best if visiting Golden temple... No food
The location is far off from Vellore town . However excellent location of you are visiting Golden Temple . No food available in hotel . Only accommodation

Average Stay
Rooms are spacious, well maintained and good hot water. No issues with room and staff. Limited parking space. Not more than 6-7 cars can be parked in the parking lot. No food inside the hotel. Outside is very very limited for decent food options. Swiggy delivery can be 45 minutes coming in from Vellore town If you are visiting for anything related to VIT University, then traffic from Vellore town can be a hindrance and stress. While its fine overall, found a bit pricier. Considering I paid roughly 3250 a night for 2 people for only stay. There is nothing of much interest in the town apart for the fairly recent temple.

Found this hotel through Make My Trip. It was a wonderful experience with this hotel. It is just 300 meters from Vellore Golden Temple. Very clean and neat rooms. Plenty of car parking spaces. There is nothing negative about this hotel.

Good Stay
I was searching for a property near the temple and also a car parking. Both the things are fulfilled here. The hotel is just 5 mins walking distance from the temple, so it was easy to visit the temple. Also the restaurants are in between temple and hotel.

Bogus attitude of all the staffs. No helpful behaviour towards customers. Only concerned with their tariffs. Almost all the equipments are not in working conditions.

Poor Stay
Golden gateway, vellore is not a well designed hotel with lack of maintenance. They rooms are just ok and the bathrooms could have been maintained better. The hotel has several design flaws. However the biggest miss is a decent restaurant. The hotel has tied up with. Restaurant next door names bees cafe which i would say is just a roadside eatery with no hygiene or sanitation. The food served there is best avoided. The only positives for this hotel is that it’s situated very close the the temple and the front desk staff are very friendly and caring.
