Visited last week of December. Vehicles not allowed at MG Road, they send helping hands for luggage transfer from nearest point. They also upgraded the room due to availability without charging extra cost. Rooms are good, location is best and the food is super. Very happy to visit there.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

Overall, I am happy and satisfied. Nice location and nice view. It is in the M.G. Marg. I booked for 1 day at first then, I booked another day. At first, I faced some issues like phone was not working, geyser was not working. But, they solved the issue. I love staying here.

Nice view from rooms. I have booked 2 standard rooms & get to see good view of whole town & scenic beauty of Gangtok. Will definitely stay at golden pagoda if ever I went to gangtokagain. Although standard rooms size is small but if anyone travelling solo then 1 can easily accommodate. They also have restro bar. Good & professional staff. One should give it try.

Location is near MG route which is good and easy to locate but room is congested and do not have facilities like electric kettle etc which is normally found in hotel's for tea and coffee specially in cold areas.

There are far better hotel in mg marg that will serve you good. This place had bad room, poor toilet, with no basic amenities in the room, no waterboiler, and the room will freeze you.
