Value for money. Nice place for staying. And I really enjoyed the stay. I recommend to choose this hotel for all the purpose. Service and facility available in the place is very excellent. Nice place for stay.

Location was good but an average stay.
Bathroom water smells bad. Counter top of the washbasin looks really bad.

AC is very good. Hot water available, I got this room for rs 1000 after all discounts, for that amount it's very good. Safe for family. Good and safe parking is available. Room service is average, restaurant is available,

Air condition was working all the time, but could not get hot water for Bath during our stay in winter (january), had to ask for help and we managed to get someone from the hotel to get a bucket of hot water. Otherwise the bathroom, and all other rooms were clean and with modern amenities. We had to go to many places between cochin and chengannur, so the location of this hotel (Kottayam) (just besides JOSCO Kottayam) was midway and so was accessible from all other locations we had to visit. We had breakfast and lunch outside, but had dinner twice in the hotel itself. But their restaurant closes by 9. 30 pm, so the visitors has to be aware of this timings, so that if they are going to reach the hotel beyond this time, they have to have their dinner outside. Drinking water is chargeable here in the hotel. They do not fill any jars or jugs for us. Instead they sell us mineral water.

Hotel Icon Classic is a budgetary hotel in Kottayam city. It is in MC road nearer to Thirunakkara temple. Rooms are small, but kept clean. Beer and wine available. Air conditioned rooms. Better have food from some where else.

Average hotel with less facilities

I is an average hotel with less facilities. Location is highly accessible. The restaurant of the hotel will open only by after noon so lunch and breakfast should be taken by out side. For a transitional traveller will happy with it's facilities.

Overall house keeping of room is poor. Bed sheets were dirty and room was smelly.

No lift... They are are very rude.. They don't have extra anything.. Eg, Pillow, soap etc.. Jus I want to say that not to book this room but you can stay for a day. I stayed and changed the room the next day and moved to orchid residency.

Value for money. Service is good. No lift. Room is decent but a foul smell always exist in the room, which stays all the time which was uncomfortable to sleep. Service by staff is also good and prompt. Would recommend for those looking for budget hotels in the heart of Kottayam.

I'm suggesting you. Mar jao par ye hotel na Lena. No restaurant service ... Only plain rice and fried rice available that to of beer and bar restaurant .. No one there to pick call ... No coffee or tea available

No complimentary water in room. Only beef and pork available. No phone. No restaurant. Bar was also having low quality liquor and again only pork and beef. Really upset.
