to be honest, this is the only hotel in agra which has the taj mahal’s closest straight view hospitality was top notch(specially from raju and son) rooms were very good (superior double bedroom) ground floor cafe is good, terrace cafe is decent but view makes it good food/kitchen area is hygienic and clean. taste is okayish but homely. and to top it off, taj mahal entry gate would be just 100steps away🤩 few issues in parking space but it’s manageable.

This is my first time in Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. The Hotel KAMAL is ideal for this - it's a five-minute walk to the East Gate of the Taj. The hotel is old, but clean and the staff is extremely friendly! All restaurants in this area offer good, cheap food, so you don't have to worry about that. For me, Agra was the highlight of my three-week trip to India. Volker from Austria.

This hotel is very nice and literally 5min walking to Taj Mahal. From the upper terrasse in the restaurant you have the best view of Taj Mahal. Rooms are clean, make sure you book the AC room ! Especial thanks for Raju who is the cook and reception and made some excellent non-spicy Indian food for us!! Open 24h. It’s family ambiance and good price

Very nice place with great service. Get early access to taj mahal if you want, as it's really close to the taj mahal. Even you can have your lunch and dinner with a great view of taj mahal as shown in the picture. Overall good experience. Must visit hotel kamal.

The location is convenient and easily accessible. The roof top view is amazing. In-house restaurant is quite good. The staff is very polite and cooperative. Rooms are good as per the price. They are clean and tidy. The hotel is worth to stay as per the price.

Food was great, and with the view of taj mahal from the rooftop balcony, it's the perfect place to see the sunset have something to drink and dine. All the people working there were super helpful, nice and very serviceminded. Felt like one could ask for anything, and they would sort it out or help you sort it out. So yea, top notch.

Top place close to taj south gate. Manager Sony was very accommodating and the morning wait staff was very attending and helpful. Overall my 3 day stay was of good value. Would highly recommend. All so the hotel proprietor was also very helpful. I highly recommend.

For the area and price the Kamal is excellent. The rooms are attractively decorated. adequately large and the roof top restuarant has a great view of the Taj and very good food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the place grows on you I felt very comfortable there.Very good value for money.It could do with a coat of paint some new clean furniture in the restaurant and some of the surrounding garbage cleaned up.

Hotel was very good and comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful and supportive. The most convenient thing is that the taj is on just walking distance and from rooftop terrace you can see taj view

Good homely food customised to choice absolute delight - 5/5 location close to taj walking distance and view of tajmahal from roof top. Very good staff and service need improvement hot water not available. Tv not working. Cons: surrounding is clumsy

From this hotel you will get a clear view of taj mahal from western gate. And taj mahal is with in 300-400 mtr distance from the hotel. But the only thing is that please confirm your room that is it ac or non ac. Staff were good.

Hotel kamal, near taj mahal, agra good location, can view taj mahal from roof top, walking five minutes to the entrance, food quality can be improved, communication, contact number with the hotel staff to be improved, safe for the solo female traveler. Clean rooms but expensive for the size. Overall good stay.
