Nice and a pleasant stay

It is in the heart of Matheran opposite to railway station adjustment to the main market so every other things is at your fingertips. I can walk to most of the points too. Rooms are clean and will get help on one call. The manager Mr. Pradhan was a big help. They have different rooms, I opted for a deluxe and it was good. I will recommend and will certainly come again next time. Bonus is a carrom board and a sound system for your enjoyment in evening.

Very nearer to market, friendly owner, quick and prompt service by staff. Would recommend to all who visit Matheran. Because big hotels like panorama and others won't provide these amenities and they charge more. Clean bathroom with hot water facility won't find in most of the hotels. But in Madhu Malti all amenities available

It is located in the center of market and near to railway Station.

This was good trip with family and Friends. Hotel was good and was near railway station. It had big garden with many games. Food was good and both veg non veg options were available. I would recommend this to all visitors nice experience.

Location is good... Comfort living. Staff is good. And nearest to the main market. Overall, good for stay in Matheran. I visited there with my wife for two days. Room service is good, I enjoy a lot.

Though the room we got was not what we have booked it was quite good. We got complimantry breakfast for the room issue. Very helpful staff. It was quite a good stay there.

It was good. Clean nicely located near bazaar and railway station. I personally recommend this for nice stay. Service was nice. Peaceful atmosphere even it is locate in market area. It was nice experience.

Not sure if it was due to the weather, the room, bedsheets and blankets had terrible damp smell. Staff service was good.

We had planned for only 1 night stay.. So went for this budget hotel.. Room was okay.. Fan regulator was not working.. There were lot of mosquitos.. Thanks to the staff for providing mosquito repellent...

Absolutely the WORST experience ever

I and a friend of mine had booked three rooms in this hotel through MMT for two nights stay at Matheran. However, it turned out be the worst experience ever. This place can't even be called a hotel. In fact, it is even worse than a cheap lodge. The rooms were filthy, unhygienic and stinking. It was infested with cockroaches, bedbugs and other insects (see attached pics). There was also a dirty street dog roaming around in the hotel corridor. The bedsheets & towels seemed to be unwashed since a long time. The blankets and pillows were so smelly that we could not even get an hour's sleep despite being tired from the journey. Even the kids could not sleep all night due to the bedbugs, mosquitoes & cockroaches. The bathrooms were also uncleaned and probably used by the hotel staff. Consequently, we had to check out the next morning itself despite having paid 3400 for each room (after discount) for two nights. When we asked the hotel staff to refund our money owing to the unlivable condition of the rooms, they started misbehaving and refused to refund the money citing MMT policy. I am really shocked that MMT is endorsing such a bad hotel and making a fool out of the tourists and spoiling their holidays. I have to say that this is my first and last experience with MMT as I have vowed never to trust their online hotel booking again after this nightmare. If you are planning to visit Matheran, this hotel is an absolute no-go and a complete waste of money.

One of the worst hotel

It is one of the worst hotel, I have ever visited even calling hotel is misleading; actually it's better to be called as cheap lodge. Rooms are very dirty. Cockroaches were freely roaming in the room, bed sheets were torn and even not washed for years, blankets were stinking. Just forget about anything complementary, as even towels were not kept in the room. I paid 1700 after discount through MMT but sadly it was completely waste. Even, I wonder how can MMT endorse such a bad hotel. It has jolted my confidence in MMT also.

Very nice hotel. AC room with breakfast. Hotel policy is good. Matheran railway station near the hotel. Good service.
