Feel like home ... Its is home away home. Have a nice stay also the hotel staff are good and helpful they give no chance for any complaints ... I would like to stay at hotel orchid in further visit .. Lastly I love to stay at hotel orchid

Good to stay

Good hotel in terms of value for money .. Its a centre of Guwahati city. There is no any issue for transportation. Good things are this hotel has own restuarent also. My next visit will be Orchid only.

Good location and security

This hotel has a good location and nice staff. I was travelling alone. So safety was a priority. The hotel was quite good in that respect. Also conveniently located if you want to buy traditional ethnic wear of Assam.

Staff polite and helpful. But basic amenity like geyser (they provide hot water on demand) and proper blanket missing.

Average facility, rooms are good but they provided me at the basement, bathrooms mirror were very old need to be changed as early as possible along with improvement of water drainage system, hotel storage room is just in front of the stair case which smells a lot need to be shifted.

Room Hygiene is not up to the mark as expected and Matresses was old not with good quality, food service is good, toilet are maintained very well and hygiene. Room space for is congested little bit

Good only if you want to stay

Assam state museum railway station archaeological spots nearby.. Also the local paltan bazaar nearby.. So you can easily access almost all the spots of Guwahati... I stayed only for one night.. Overall experience is 6/10.

No hot water facility

There was no hot water facility nor health faucet available in the toilet. Room a is little congested and without wardrobes, shelves or hangers/hooks. Bed-sheets, pillows and curtains were neat and tidy. Floor were well cleaned and walls well painted.

Not worthy to stay

Hotel Orchid is approximately one km from main market place Paltan Bazar. Considering facilities Location is average. Service of the hotel is also average. Room was shabby, dirty and unhygenic. Food was average and price was exorbitant. Room service was below average. In my opinion hotel Orchid is not Worthy to stay.

Overall, performances are average. Room service is OK and cleanliness is also OK. Quality of the food of your restaurant is up to the mark. The location wise position of your hotel is attractive. The PR Of the staff of the hotel is satisfactory.
