The hotel belonged to the tamil nadu tourism department. It has been privatised and called sangamam. The place has been renovated adequately but rooms are small barely fitting a king sized bed. The best thing is its location. Plenty of eating joints close by. The renovated bar created a racket from 7 pm till 11 pm.
