In over all aspectsi the hotel saravana grand valparai was excellent. They have provided individual water heater in every bath room instead of centralised water heater so as to enable the customer to get hot water as and when they require. Lastly the ventilation out side of room was very good they have all so provided seating arrangements out side the room in versndaha where you can sit and relax comfortably. The staffs are very cooperstive. Finally i strongly recoment this property for all peoples visiting valparai in future and every time. Thank you with kind regards

We arrived at saravana grand a few hours late. The reception was good and the hosts were accommodative (just ensure that you notify them in advance if you are late. The room was pretty spacious (we booked the suite for 4 people. General facilities including fans, lights, water heater, etc, worked perfectly and the toilet was well maintained. Certain amenities such as soaps and towels were missing. But they did have a kettle in the closet to heat water. The parking space was sufficient, you have to hand over your car keys to the receptionist if you have parked your vehicle in front of another guest's car. There are a couple of spots located nearby such as the kolangal river. Majority of them are far away though and you have to drive or take a local transport to reach them. The hosts provide you with a list of attractions to visit (the list includes the distance to those areas from the hotel. They are pretty friendly and will provide you with details about the tourist spots. The hotel has a restaurant annexed to it that servers decent food. The menu is pretty limited and mostly vegetarian (don't be deceived by the pictures on the wall. However, the taste was good and the food is sufficient to satisfy your immediate needs. But if you are looking for an elaborate menu, there are some other restaurants nearby that may appeal to your taste. Overall, a good experience that definitely deserves 4 to 5 stars. If you are looking for a neat stay in the busy city of valparai with good facilities and are ok to travel some distance to explore the natural sceneries, i would recommend the place. However, if you are looking for a scenic view from your stay close to nature, then i suggest you look for a homestay or accommodation outside the city.

In the middle of the city, can be easily accessible to the all the tourist spot in valparai. Budget friendly hotel with all the necessary amendments. But hot water timings for bathing can be extended. As of now it is limited to 1 hr in the morning and evening.
