"staying at hotel shanti inn near the vfs global office in kolkata, kashba was an absolute delight! from the moment i stepped in, i was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-appointed, and provided all the amenities i needed for a pleasant stay. The location was extremely convenient, especially for those with appointments at the nearby vfs global office. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, and the complimentary breakfast spread was both extensive and delicious. Overall, i had a fantastic experience at hotel shanti inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting kolkata, whether for business or leisure"

I’m so satisfied while staying at hotel shanti inn since all staff are quite friendly and approachable. They arranged everything as we asked including our travel and other personal requirements. We will surely come back to this hotel if we make a trip again to kolkata.

we have stayed in this place around for a week and it was amazing. well-maintained and super hygienic place. especially "KOKO" (🐕) extra ability to respect guests was amazing..just loved it.

The room is good and bed is comfortable. However the room is in 2nd floor and has no lift. Also the vfs global doesn't handle usa/canada bio-metric appointments, which are handled 7km away at shekspear saran i vfs office

Property location is very good, near to vfs visa office, acropolis mall, restaurants and shopping centers. Well connected. Shanthi hotel inn owner mr pandey and his pet hoke extended warm welcome. Our pictures were clicked and the staff took copies of our government id proof. We felt it was incorrect to click pictures on phone to show it to their bosses. Water bottle was also not given to us. The room was smelly and dirty as though it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The bathroom had a big glass window which was visible to the main road. The screen wasn't enough to prevent the view from main road

Insufferable service

The owner and the dog were very friendly and approachable, but the others were very rude especially the receptionist, the disrespect towards the customer is insufferable. The service there is non existent, i had to ask someone to bring the towel on the second day because they apparently had none when we arrived and the person stood at the door waiting for a tip like that was not part of the hotel norm before the customers arrived. The location of the hotel is ideal: walkable distance to the vfs global, affordable eateries, mall and the best part is the blinkit orders are delivered in 11 minutes(without traffic. The rooms are smaller than you see in the photos but for the price of 2 adults it's affordable and quite cosy. The bathrooms are of decent size and clean. There is also a xerox store on the ground floor of the building. (for the people visiting the vfs global don't forget to xerox your papers before going to the office as it costs rs 150 for printing just 3 papers.
