Review Of Hotel SJR, Varanasi

after ignoring all the past reviews I checked in.. but it was just a horrible experience.. pls pls pls. dont go here

1. hotel location is not good. 2. ⁠hotel front staff, especially their manager carries a bad attitude and the other staff is still better 3. ⁠food service is worst but taste is better, they can make you wait for upto an hour. 4. ⁠water is not complimentary 5. ⁠no toiletries provided. 6. ⁠towels are not fresh. 7. ⁠rooms are not ventilated.

First of all hotel is situated in front of a slum. Overall service is not upto mark. Employees behavior was someway unacceptable

Service was pathetic, they don’t give rooms when you visit directly to the hotel. Allowed only with reservation through online

Hotel was too dirty, wall had water seepage so it was smelling. Hotel staff was unable to provide towels after many follow ups they gave hand towels and that with stain. Warm water in bathroom was provided after complaint however next day morning again there was no warm water. Request to clean the room as their staff keep coming and going to attend the complainant was unheard surrounding was also very unpleasant. Will neither recommend nor would like to visit again.

Staff is good and cooperative even hotel owner. Good is just ok

Even though our stay was confirmed, when we went for check-in we were told that there are no rooms available.

I booked this hotel based on the mmt description, however they didn't even give us a water bottle in the room; we had to go outside and get water.

Neither like the hotel, nor the services. And staff is rude and not up to mark. Had to wait for 2 hours for a bottle of water after 4 reminders. Gm is super rude person, i don't know how they do there job.

Nice experience. Was satisfied with hospitality.
