We had a wonderful stay at Sonar Bangla Taki. The property is located in a beautiful campus, merging nature nicely with modern amenities. Very pleasant and aesthetically done decor. Food and cleanliness were good. Experiencing Maa Durga Visarjan on Dashami that too on Ichhamoti River multipled our joy. All in all a memorable experience.

Pros: Property is at a superb location and well maintained. Staff and food and overall ambience is good for a break from regular activities of day-to-day life. Cons: Hair drying was available only on call. Refrigerator not functioning though complaint about it but same. Swimming pool is just ok for such beautiful property.

It was a relaxing short stay. The location of the property is extraordinary. Located on the banks of the river Ichamati , it offers an excellent view of Durga Puja visarjan.

Sonar bangla hotel My room is end of the boundry wall adjacent is policy was not satisfactory every time u provide odside room n Today I not stay sunrise hotel cause of back side room not river view room u intentionally very poor room.

Overall good. The rate of board riding is too high. The toilet space is very small. The room tariff is high compared to the room accommodation.

Very poor service and delayed food and water delivery at room. Reception staffs are very unprofessional, even welcome drinks not served to anyone in our group, its not about the drinks, its about the hospitality management should taken care of. Sonar Bangla staffs and management way much more better than this. Though some housekeeping and security personnels are really very good. Problem in management level. Please improve your hospitality. Thank you.

Stayed for one night, 15th Aug. Booked 2 Super-Deluxe rooms Room Service was excellent, despite the long weekend rush. They catered to all our requests, including changing the fridge in one of the rooms. The only disappointment, in this area, was the unavailability of ice Location is wonderful. The proximity to a large river like the Ichhamati has a lot to do with it The property layout is nice, with most rooms having a clear or angular river view, especially from the higher floors. Overall it is well maintained The swimming pool is relatively small for a property of this size. When crowded swimming becomes a constraint Great that there is a coffee shop on campus. Net net a great getaway for a couple of days, close to Kolkata

Excellent resort on the Ichamoti river. We had a premium room with great views. Food is ordinary. They have a beautiful cafe which is worth visiting.

Nice Stay- Staff was Very Courteous- Location was Mind Blowing. Food might seem expensive but the portion they serve actually justifies their pricing.

Highly overpriced property 5 star price with minimal in room facilities. The bathroom was dirty. There was no minibar only empty cooler.
