Good Things:
1. Location is convenient — within 1.5 km of New Delhi Railway Station and metro.
2. Hot water was available in the bathroom.
3. Early check-in was provided, which was appreciated.
Stay Experience:
- We checked in at around 7:30 AM, and as per their policy, had to check out at the same time on our last day.
- We requested a half-day extension with additional cost, but their terms were unreasonable — they asked for nearly 75% of the daily room rate just for a 5-hour extension. However, they did allow us to keep our luggage safely after checkout, which was helpful.
- The room itself was very basic. Bedsheets and mattress were quite old and uncomfortable.
- During our 4-day stay, there was no room cleaning, no bedsheet or towel replacement even once.
- The TV didn’t work from the first day — they tried fixing it but couldn’t, and said the repairman didn’t come.
- Only one soap and shampoo sachet were provided on day one. When requested again, we got only one extra shampoo sachet and were told soap wasn’t available.
- The bathroom tap to switch to shower was hard and non-functional.
- Service was extremely slow — even getting drinking water and extra pillow took repeated calls.
- Eventually, we discovered the filter tap ourselves and filled our bottles daily for the rest of the stay.
Overall:
- I didn’t expect luxury, just a convenient location with basic amenities — which the hotel provides. But due to poor service, lack of cleanliness, and non-functional TV, I would still rate it poor overall.
