One of the best place in gangtok. Had awesome room. Geyser was on. Everything was awesome. The owner is the gentleman in today's era. We always look forward for visiting sungava again.

We booked two rooms for 3 night stay its amazing hotel with nice rooms and excellent staff and service. Hotel manager was very helpful, arranged our local tour and nathuna pass and tsomgo lake visit and also guided us for everything. Will recommend for everyone who is planning for gangtok visit.

The hotel location was difficult to trace thru google maps as our different phones showed different locations, but hotel staff were cooperative to guide the driver. Hotel ambience was so good and we got a room facing the mountain view. Room was so spacious for 3 of us (2a, 1c) and bed was also large. There was hot water always when needed. Breakfast was also delicious with one special variety each day. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The restaurant staff were very pleasant in serving us what we asked for. Staff didn't clean our room after putting the clean my room card, so may be they can improve there, overall our stay was wonderful.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the fantastic experience my family and i had during our recent stay at sungava resort. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. The property, though rated as a 3-star, surpassed our expectations and provided a level of service that one would typically associate with a 5-star hotel. The spacious and hygienic rooms, complete with all amenities, offered a comfortable retreat. The breathtaking valley view, including a glimpse of the gangtok ropeway from our room balcony, added a serene touch to our stay. The interior design of the rooms was not only beautiful but also complemented by the comfort of the beds and sofas. The international standard bathrooms and the daily tea and coffee refills were a thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed. A special commendation goes to the manager and staff, who were unfailingly helpful and cooperative throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome and taken care of. The culinary experience at sungava resort was a highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options exceeded our expectations. Having explored numerous hotels in gangtok, we can confidently say that sungava resort stands out as the best in terms of food quality and selection. The little garden/play area was a delightful spot, and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time there. Additionally, the availability of a diverse selection of good books provided a perfect way to unwind and relax. Lastly, the convenient access to mg road via the upper sichey road, with frequent and affordable cab services, made our exploration of gangtok hassle-free. In conclusion, we would like to express our gratitude for the exceptional experience at sungava resort. We are already looking forward to returning next year and sincerely hope that the high standards of service and hospitality are maintained. We will undoubtedly recommend sungava resort to fellow travelers seeking a positive and enriching stay. Thank you once again for making our stay truly remarkable.

I cannot thank the staff Shailish, Albert, Pratima and Dawa for the excellent hospitality. The best staff I have ever seen. So kind, meticulous and helpful. The rooms have spectacular views. This is my go to place in Gantok. I'm immensely grateful for the wonderful experience.

We had a stay of 3 nights here , one of the best hotels in Gangtok, The hotel's staff behaviour is really good and i appreciate all of them . The food was really amazing , filled with all the flavours and love , i will definitely recommend my friends and family to stay here whenever they visit Gangtok.we had a early morning checkout at 6:00 AM so they packed some delicious sandwiches and fruits for us Thank you Sungava team we loved our stay at your hotel. will definitely visit soon . 😊❤️
