The houseboat was beautiful and well maintained. The food served was hot, fresh and very tasty. The view from the terrace were breathtaking. Overall we had a very comfortable and memorable stay.

This houseboat located in neegan lake. Hence no crowd near by. You can enjoy the peace. The houseboat is huge with incredible wood carving on it. And have 3-4 rooms. Including dining area, drawing room. The care taker of the houseboat are friendly and respectful. He helped me arranging the cab for local sightseeing and for gulmarg trip. As well at reasonable price. As the flooring is of wood. It sounds little spooky when anyone walks around. Specially at night.

The place was clean, cozy and beautiful. The host cum caretaker ishfaq was helpful and polite. The shikara ride arranged was awesome. The place is nicely heated which is very very important in srinagar, though would suggest you ask the caretaker to light the non electric heater as electricity is a on-off supply in these regions.

A very thoughtfully designed place, with all the amenities, gives you privacy. While being in the beautiful lake of nigeen which I personally feel better than dal lake area. Insulated from the typical urban noises. The person who abides and is the owner of the property is the wonderful host for sure. 24hours room heater, bathtub, hot water, great service in the room. It’s just 3 rooms in the houseboat and one dining room and a beautiful living room. Room service is better than good hotels in the Srinagar area. They arranged shikara ride to gate number one of the lakes free of cost every time we planned to step out even for small chocolate or food till 9 pm. Rooms are beautiful and spacious enough. Good internet speed in the living room, dining, and first room, would highly recommend, thanks safe place for a couple of family travel and i would also recommend for solo travellers

I have stayed in many house boats in kashmiri but "jewel in crown" is best in services and in food quality. Also the staff member (abid) was so helpful and good person. I must say food taste and services was awesome. I felt it like a home.

Very well maintained house boat. Located in the serene environment of Nigeen lake. They’ve dedicated shikaras to get guests here. Abid, the caretaker is very courteous and helpful.

If you want to stay in a quite place away from hustle and bustle of dal lake, this is a nice option. Reasonably priced. Hygienic. Good food. Quite scenic location. A special plus point is the caretaker, mr. Abid. He wins you over with his charming behavior. He goes out of way to make your stay enjoyable. His presence is a big positive about this place. Great value for money. I will like to visit again whenever i visit srinagar in future.
