Review Of Houseboat Jewel In The Crown

This house boat was very overpriced. It has a good interior, but is not maintained well. The food was good but the service lacked quality. They charge for everything.

very clean, user friendly, did lot of shopping on the boat, this is near famous dargah.food was amazing. room was awesome. booked luxury room but got suite room. thanks to the staff

The houseboat was good and comfortable. It could have been a little bit more clean. Can’t really see sunset as it is blocked by another houseboat

The houseboat was beautiful and well maintained. The food served was hot, fresh and very tasty. The view from the terrace were breathtaking. Overall we had a very comfortable and memorable stay.

There was no hot water. Staff was not trained. Power was an issue. We have to wait for power to come. To even charge our mobile. Didnt expect this really food was only ok

Great stay and hospitality. Must experience place and this houseboat is in nigeen lake which is more quiet place compare to dal lake houseboats.

It was an awesome experience staying here. This is in nigeen lake which is very quite compared to dal lake. A shikara ride from here to dal lake via golden lake was breathtaking. Food was good and was like homemade. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The houseboat was good. Dinner was good. They can add more veg options to breakfast. The interior of the house oat was really beautiful. And as it was at nigeen lake, the stay was calm and peaceful.

The experience and food was good, the staff members were also friendly and overall a great experience but felt price could have been a bit low.

This houseboat located in neegan lake. Hence no crowd near by. You can enjoy the peace. The houseboat is huge with incredible wood carving on it. And have 3-4 rooms. Including dining area, drawing room. The care taker of the houseboat are friendly and respectful. He helped me arranging the cab for local sightseeing and for gulmarg trip. As well at reasonable price. As the flooring is of wood. It sounds little spooky when anyone walks around. Specially at night.

Very hygienic courteous staff good food

The place was clean, cozy and beautiful. The host cum caretaker ishfaq was helpful and polite. The shikara ride arranged was awesome. The place is nicely heated which is very very important in srinagar, though would suggest you ask the caretaker to light the non electric heater as electricity is a on-off supply in these regions.

The houseboat is comfortable. The staff is very cooperative and the food is good. The view is amazing too.

Stay was good. Well maintained house boat. The only thing was the location. If u need happening place then go for dal lake but if u need silent calm place than this is for you. Overall awesome stay.

Kashmir incomplete without a stay at jewel. Beautiful houseboat, abide the perfect host and mr. Asif the great owner.
