Rooms are clean enough and service is good as well. Bit of a distance from the lake though. Must rent a scooty

My stay at up-van has been superb. Nice surroundings and lovely view from room. A budget-friendly stay that would not disappoint you. Staff is polite and helpful. It’s also a pet-friendly stay so overall five stars for their hospitality.

The lakeview room provided was excellent with the beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Located in a peaceful and calm location, waking up with birds chirping and gentle breeze was the best experience. The room and bathroom was very clean, well maintained with proper hygiene measures. Staff was decent and friendly and available all the time at your service. Food quality and quantity are worth the money spent. Overall i would rate the homestay a 5 star! also, thanks to makemytrip for the additional discount in the booking charges.

The stay was really good. Rooms are clean and huge. Best part is they have a big hall as well where you can relax and chill. Washrooms were clean and staff is very supportive. Lovely location, exactly lake side.

A good hotel. The service was excellent. Rooms very comfortable. A few small additions are needed but the hotel is under new management and will be made even better in the coming months.

In this hotel, in the morning the toilet in our room ran out of water so the hotel staff asked us to use the toilet in another guestroom which had been used some time ago and was not even cleaned. Also towels were not available in the room and we had to ask reception desk and towel rack of toilet was broken. But the staff was good and helpful and also the food is good. But bhimtal is not a good place to stay overnight. It is better to visit bhimtal lake and aquarium island before 5pm and go back to nainital and stay there and enjoy the night life of mall road.

Linen was not clean. Room has bad smell from pieces of carpet lying there for ages without vacuuming. It wasn’t value for money. Dust was visible everywhere, not satisfied at all

There was no electricity for the whole night. The host refused to help out. The food services were delayed by an average of 2 hours.. multiple times

We were struggled a lot at night because no electricity. But owner refunded 40% of money after hours of heat debate.

Firstly the rooms were not as same in pictures. Secondly upon checking in they told me you have to pay 1000rs extra for rooms with attached washroom. When i told them that i already paid they told me we don't have a room at this price please pay extra 500 for normal room without attached washroom and 1000 for attached washroom.
