Review Of Jain Homestay || Rooms and Wifi - Opp to Ghoom Railway station

The room was very conjusted with hardly any space to move around . The breakfast was very poor.

Mr.Thapa and his food was marvellous , Basic amenities are missing like TV, Milk Sachet, tea & sugar.slippers & hangers and hangers are missing. Looks like empty room. Request management to place these common amenities for all the upcoming travellers

Location perfect just outside g hum railway station which a unesco heritage site. They provided us pure jain food on our request, thanks for that. They have provided all basic amenities you need in a hotel. Moreover, vivek and his staff suresh has helped us a lot in various aspects to make our stay memorable at their place. I recommend that you must stay here if you are in darjeeling.

Great place to stay, nice management and quality vegetarian food

It was amazing experience. Best part is staff was available 24 hours, every electronic item was in working condition usually we do not find in most of the hotels. Humble staff, amazing food in less price. Overall quality time spent

The owner seems more interested in taking commissions on taxi booking. We booked one taxi on our way back to bagdogra airport from the homestay directly without involving the owner. He acted weirdly and tried to cancel the booking by contacting the driver and was trying to convince us for booking one through him at a higher price. Because of his misinformation we had to pay cancellation charges of rupees one thousand to one cab driver. Not at all happy with his nature. Rooms are basic and bed was not properly cleaned when we checked in. No room cleaning was done during our stay.

The homestay is easy to navigate as it is located just next to ghoom railway station. Your morning starts with the nostalgic whistle of toy train and the view from the window mesmerizes you. A lovely and welcoming couple is running the stay and they are doing a pretty good job. Now just to mention the development areas, they should keep the entrance open at least during regular hours (7am- 7pm) whereas the doors were closed most of the time. However, any time you call mr. Vivek, he would do the needful, starting from opening the gate for you at odd hours. Also, they should describe the rooms better on mm t so that it's easier for the travellers to choose. There are 3 rooms with mountain view but only two of those have proper view while the corner one just serves the purpose. Overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed the stay.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Breakfast was delicious and a good selection. The staff could not possibly be friendlier or more helpful. Thanks for making our visit to darjeeling wonderful.

It was unexpected that i will get great service in limited amount but Jain homestay fully satisfied my expectations up to the most. And the view is love ❣️

Spacious room and hospitality is great. In darjeeling chills, the room are very cozy. Loved the view from the room. Mind blowing experience. Visitors should definitely try this place.

Clean property, good host, supportive staff, very clean and hygienic. Located in prime location just in front of g hum station. Food was tasty. Overall i am very happy with my stay and it is definitely value for money.
