Kanchan View Tourist Lodge

This is a homestay, so dont expect Kanchan View Tourist Lodge like facilities. We travel-led with a large group. - view from top floor rooms were awesome specially in morning. - geyser was available and turned on on request. - Kanchan View Tourist Lodge food was homely (rice, dal, roti, chicken all available and need to be ordered before hand, you may not have restraunt like choices.

This homestay is good and value for money. Room is spacious, neat and clean. Toilet is clean and geyser is working. Behaviour of homestay caretaker is good and polite. Food is little bit costly but testy. Only issue is that no wifi present in the homestay. Though at time of booking it was written that wifi will be available. Otherwise it is good for staying in rishop.

Location is okay. View from Kanchan View Tourist Lodge lobby is very good. But unfortunately we had a cloudy weather, so couldn't watch kanchanjungha. Food rate too high, quality is not good. Service is good
Door locks are not strong enough. Transparent curtains in front of a glass windos. Anybody from outside can look into your room.

Location is good but the attitude of the booking agent in kolkata is not at all professional. He is rude and possess typical backward kolkata mentality. Otherwise local stuff behaviour is good and they are always ready to help. Food option is limited and you cant order out of the box item in dinner or lunch.

Location is excellent to avoid the congested place in a hilly village. Foods are of excellent quality at reasonable price. Hotel staffs and property owner are very cordial in nature. We really enjoyed our holidays. We missed the view of the kanchenjunga mount due to cloudy weather.

Travel-led with aging parents and a toddler. A tough stretch of 5 kms from lava but all that led to a serene paradise. Mystical kanchenjunga. Right outside your window. With its majestic full span. Very friendly and cooperative staff. Overall a wonderful experience.

Good service and excellent view

The host was really friendly and helpful. Food was also god. Outside view from room was the best thing to see n live the moments. Kanchenjunga range can be seen completely from this homestay.

Neat and clean bedroom. White bedsheet. Crystal clear bathroom. Jagooer geyser. Zero noise. Heavenly front view. Abundance of tasty food. You will be full of joy and your exhausted mind will be at an unknown ease you always pine for.
