Review Of Kashi Vishram Palace

Our experience at this property was nothing short of pathetic. The house owner has simply converted his ground floor into a so-called “hotel” with barely five rooms on the entire property. It neither looks nor feels like a hotel. There is no ventilation in the rooms or washrooms, making it suffocating throughout the stay. The rooms were full of mosquitoes and even butterflies, making it impossible to rest peacefully. Despite the price, the hotel does not have a restaurant, so forget about any convenience of in-house meals. We had booked a suite room, expecting a spacious layout with a separate living area. However, their definition of a suite was totally — just a small room with a double bed and a foldable sofa stuffed in. For this, we paid for one night, which is absolutely overpriced for what was offered. The location is another downside — it is tucked away inside a narrow lane in Varanasi, where even an e-rickshaw can’t comfortably reach. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. There are far better options available in Varanasi at this price point. Avoid at all costs.

We had a wonderful stay at Kashi Vishram Palace. The location is excellent—close to the main temples and ghats but still quiet enough for peaceful rest. The host was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with local guidance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. It’s an ideal place for families and solo travelers who want convenience, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kashi.

My stay at Kashi Vishram Palace was exceptional. It's the perfect choice for anyone visiting Varanasi for a spiritual journey. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Dashashwamedh Ghat. Being so close made it easy to experience the city's essence without hassle. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding hospitality. The manager and staff were incredibly polite, professional, and helpful, making me feel right at home. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Though it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with no in-house restaurant, the staff gladly helps arrange food, and the tea is wonderful. I highly recommend Kashi Vishram Palace for its prime location, superb service, and clean, cozy atmosphere. I will definitely return.

It was nice stay, very near to dashashmev ghat

I and my family of 3 stayed in Kashi Vishram palace for 4 nights in mid oct. The room is very clean and well kept. We had a comfortable stay there. The owner is very helpful and directed us to all the places. The location is perfect with all temples within walking distance. Staff behaviour is excellent. Will definitely stay if we visit again. There are a lot of eating places nearby. Definitely recommend

Very good hotel close to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Hotel is clean, organised. Room is excellent. Never thought hotel and room will be such nice in Banaras street. It is close to kashi viswanath Temple gate no 4. I wl definitely consider this in my next trip. Hotel location is in narrow street. We have to walk just 150meters where the Taxi or cab stops ( Gowdalia square/ Chourahah)

property is clean, the person who runs it is friendly. but it is not a hotel, its a more like a home stay. It's very close to the temple and the ghats, but not easily accessible. not great for people with mobility issues.

Very nice location and very nearby to Kashi Biswanath temple. Hotel manager is very polite and helpful. After checkout they provided a small return gift for the stay. I would like to recomend this hotel.

Best thing about this hotel is location be it from the Kashi Vishwanath temple or Dasashwamedh Ghat or many other prime spot of Varanasi. Everything is available at just walking distance be it food, shops for shoppings or temples. Additionally what I loved about the hotel is the cleanliness and staff behaviour- totally 5/5 rating from me.
