Our stay at Kia Ora Homestay in Haldwani was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the caretaker, Mr. Manshul, and his wife, who made sure every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The home-cooked food was extraordinary—delicious and full of flavor. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable environment for our family. It’s also very kid-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The service was outstanding. We felt like every detail was carefully managed and personalized to meet our needs. Mr. Manshul even went above and beyond by picking us up and arranging an auto for our checkout, making our stay hassle-free. The view from our room was breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the place. Honestly, there wasn’t a single point where we could deduct any stars—everything was just perfect. If you're planning a trip to Nainital or Kaichi Dham with your family, I highly recommend booking a stay at Kia Ora. It truly made our trip memorable!

Its proximity to the haldwani railway station, approximately 4 km away, is a notable advantage, ensuring ease of access. Transportation options like autos are readily available, making it convenient to explore the surrounding areas. Food: the breakfast provided was good, offering a satisfying start to the day. Although i didn't have the opportunity to try other meals, the breakfast experience was positive. Amenities: the property is well-equipped with all necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. From the basics to the little extras, everything is taken care of. Property: the highlight of my stay was the spacious room, which came with an attached balcony. This added a touch of luxury and provided a lovely space to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Overall, this stay is ideal for anyone seeking peace and solitude, away from the noise of the city, without compromising on the comforts and conveniences of modern amenities. The combination of a great location, good food, comprehensive amenities, and luxurious accommodations make it a highly recommendable choice for travelers.

The hospitality and warmth extended by manshul and his support staff was really touching. Loved the aesthetic decor and the homely feeling. Also, the food was really tasty and homely. Will surely visit again

Pocket friendly and great place to stay in a homely environment. The rooms are cosy and aesthetically furnished. Rooms and toilets are cleaned. Food is hot and home cooked and as per your choice. The governor of the home stay mr manshul is very co operative and friendly. He is willing to take all kind of pains to make guest stay as comfortable as possible.

I recommend this property whenever anybody wants to stay in haldwani. Very neat and clean rooms and premises. Very tasty home made food as per customer requirement. Owner / care taker mr. Manshul bhatt is very polite and available as and when required for customer. One of best experience.

Its best placed to stay overnight, when you want to avoid driving on mountain roads during night. Have great relaxing stay, bath, have home cooked food, good relaxing friendly conversation with host, who will feel like long lost friend and start afresh in the morning towards mountains, rather than having driving anxiety, reaching tired at destination and missing all the beauty of mountains while driving.

The host provides you with a proper homestay experience. Right from the fresh home-cooked food to the welcome you get. The bhatt family who are a very friendly bunch of people to be around. Plus the host manshul has put in a lot of effort in setting up and maintaining the space, which has a very plea-sent aura to it

The space is extremely well maintained and clean. Mr. Host manshul is very polite and a cooperative guy. The only drawback would be if you are not with friends and you take one room, the others could be occupied by strangers. Though mr. Manshul is very selective about his guests, still you will have to be careful about the comfort of others too. The property is located in residential area hence not a place for crazy party animals. However, as i have been told the rooms are sound proof you can chill in your room. And in case you book all the three rooms with your friends whole appartment will be yours. It's a must go in case you wanna have a different holiday experience. Perks are a comfortable and soothing vacation.

I opted for ki ora homestay after reading reviews online. I was not disappointed at all. Very well maintained property and close to the railway station as well. It is a perfect homestay, not glamorous like a hotel, but very cozy like your own home. The cherry on the cake is the host and owner of the property, mr. Anshul. Polite, warm and well spoken person who makes sure that you have a good stay. Also, his wife cooks amazing pahadi food, you will not be tempted to order from outside. I am little late in writing this review considering my stay date, but i had to, it is worth it.

As i had booked the place after going through the reviews, thus the overall experience didn’t surprise me. But what i must mention is his hospitality. Before my arrival, he called up no of times to know about my time of arrival, how i could reach his place, what i liked to have in dinner etc. This gave a feeling of going to my close relative’s place. Even on the next day he introduced me to his parents. After knowing that i am a bengali, his mother prepared one item in typical bengali style. Not only that, on the next day he called up to enquirer whether i reached my next destination safely, whether i had got a proper place to stay. These small touches one can only expect from one’s close relatives. His standard of service and way to give a pleasant experience to the guest can definitely be an example to all others. I will definitely stay here only, when i come next.
