Stay was wonderful. Very neat and clean rooms and apt prompt service. Friendly and professional staff and most important food was really good. Homemade and very tasty food. A little away from main bus stand but peaceful property no noise. Safe for family and female travelers.

From BSNL office 1.4 kilometer Located. Hospitality was good. Hot drinking water is provided whenever we called. Nice atmosphere.
Telephone was not working to make call to reception for water.

The first thing is price, Its low cost but still all facility are good. Hotel staff are polite and always ready to serve and assist. They provide good food but the only thing is we have inform them at least 3 hours before. Location is good, 24 hour hot water, I think they proved good service at this price. If anyone looking for budget hotel then you can consider this hotel. It is around 2km from bus stand.

The manager and other service staff were very welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and also with a view. The food was cheap but delicious. The stay was worth every moment. Highly recommended.

It was a wonderful stay at Kodai Retreat, Service and facilities was really good. I would refer to my family and friends to visit their. Front office was very supportive and helping us in what we want. I would request everyone to go and stay their and enjoy the holidays.

All ways good. Nice place. Good management, superfamily food. Reasonable rate. Nice service and clean. Hot water is best. Friendly staff. Good location. If you are staying in Kodaikanal retreat is best one of the hotel. We are enjoying the trip. Room clean is very good.

The place is well located and easily navigated by HERE map. The overall stay was pretty comfy and value for money after the MMT seasonal offer. For the original price, I doubt it's a bit overpriced. The hotel guys were very kind and helped with all the questions we had and check-in and checkout was pretty hassle free.

Should specifically mention the service that I have got here. Kali the service boy was excellent, he was there everywhere whenever we have a request, whether to change the napkin, to get a bottle of milk, hot water, you name it, Kali was there. Food was too good. Homemade food at an affordable rate. I have suggested to resort people on one feedback to have a proper sign board. Resort is very close to lake (2 km), a home like atmosphere. We got a good discount from makemytrip.

Kodai Retreat is a very good place to stay in Kodaikanal. It is conveniently located (with in 3-4 kms) near popular tourist destinations like Kodai Lake, Bear Shola Water Falls, Bryant Park, Coaker Walk etc. The property is very well maintained with compound wall and ample car parking. Deluxe room had a double bed with neat bed sheets n pillows, quilt, a small round wooden table and cushioned chairs, wardrobe with many compartments and full size mirror, TV with remote and cable connection, telephone, Plastic tray and pair of glasses and Wash basin. Bathroom was also kept very neat with air fresheners and enough hot water supply. It would be unfair if dont mention about the staff of Kodai retreat for doing a wonderful job in making it a great place to be. They are all very friendly, enthusiastic and ready to help guests all the time, especially Mr. Deepak, the Manager. Mr. Daniel was really helpful in arranging the permission (RTO and Forest) to go to Berijam Lake. Breakfast and Dinner which are served (at the room) on prior order was also very tasty and reasonably priced. A comfortable place in all sense worth every rupee you spend. I truly enjoyed my stay there and would surely be staying at Kodai Retreat the next time I visit Kodaikanal.

The hotel is a bit off the town but it's quiet and relaxing. Rooms are simple, large and clean. I had a small balcony as well. The hotel staff is very helpful and sweet. What I liked the most is their ability to 'arrange' everything for you: from hot water to day trips. They were very nice people and I had a pleasant stay. Since I was traveling alone, they also made sure I was safe and I really appreciated their efforts and also their kindness as they offered me to use the room for refreshment after checking out so that I could relax before taking my bus. I recommend this place for a week-end trip, it's not very expensive and you can rely on the manager and staff members. Internet in the lobby is also an assess.

Facscilities are okay for this affordable price. Breakfast was included idali and ponkal was served at room. Staff behaviour was good. Bedsheet was little torn. Overall good for this price
