Stayed in kofiland for 3 nights. It was an awesome experience for us. Nice location, courteous staffs and food was great. Right from operations manager to watchman, all were very supportive. The hospitality is out of the world.

Our stay at Kofiland was amazing. Right from the room to the food, plantation tours and fishing the staff really did pull out all stops. Special thanks to Leeba, Vishnu and the chef for making our stay memorable and extremely rejuvenating.

Restaurant is ok. Morning buffet is good other times only a la carte option. Swimming pool good with kids pool but too cold in evening. Spice trail was informative. fishing got 2 fishes but requires lots of patience a better bait like live worms would have been better instead of atta which falls of the hook easily. They have no option to cook the fish we catch, so we let it go to the pond itself. Jacuzzi bathroom is good but stuffy smell inside as no exhaust. Rooms are spacious and had good view of the lights near the lake which was a beautiful spectacle in itself. The staff were nice and courteous. Children's playground is good for small kids with swing and slides. Indoor games only pool and carroms available. Cycling is available 2 cycles for children. The ambience and lighting gives number of photo snap moments. Location difficult to identify entrance to property as no signboard on the way. Tends to overshoot property when coming with Google maps and had to turn back twice. Went for Gavi forest trip from hotel on jeep, breakfast lunch included. The office for booking is nearby at kumily. Most memorable part of our trip with waterfall boating trekking and view of Sabarimala. Charges for hotel stay high as peak season. Thekkady elephant safari nearby.

Lonely in the hotel

The hotel was creepy. I had walked Around it and it didn't gave me good impression. I ended up vacating hotel in few hours only as my daughter became uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want all hotel for yourself.

It's a must for any Thekkady visitor. Modern and luxurious. It's an estate with spice plantation and actual factories of coffee, cardamom and pepper. Leeba from front office showed us Around the resort and took us to the plantation trails. Everyone must do this. She was really amazing and explained all the trees and plants. We did fishing as well. Rooms are huge and nice. Overlooking the Lake. Loved the stay

Kofiland, Thekkady is 118 acres of property that is beautifully managed. The service provided by the staff is excellent. The room views are amazing like a European design, neat and clean interiors, all rooms are fitted with Jacuzzi and are spacious too. It was a very good experience. Will definitely visit again.

I was with my family and two german friends of mine. Our experience was beyond words to explain. From the front desk, till the end, all the staff members including the chef and tour guide very best I can ask for.
