Location was great on the banks of the lake. Cottages were clean and comfortable. Service was very good and staff courteous. Food was good. Overall very good experience.

I stayed in the Premium Lake View Room, which offered a stunning view and a serene, nature-friendly atmosphere. The property features a spacious garden with lush greenery, large trees, and beautiful lakeside seating areas that set it apart from other stays. It’s an ideal place for families, as children will love the open space. The food was delicious, and the bar service was excellent. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Property is good. Worth for one day stay. Outside food not allowed but inside, limited food choice. Attitude of people are good.Overall supervision looked to be improved.

Room were clean and the place was great to relax and chill with family. choices in the restart was very limited, so except for the complimentary breakfast, opted to have lunch and dinner near the places.

The ambience was good and calm. But if we have more activities it will be really nice. Room and the service was good.

Property is good but food options are very limited they should have more spread as not everyone likes only South Indian food.

Location is fine & staff attitude is fine but not excellent. Food was below average for a resort. No activities or entertainments for family and kids were arranged.

We had a pleasant stay at Kumarakom Gateway. The room was quite comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The food was good especially the breakfast. My humble suggestion is that the property could be much more attractive with a little more maintenance. The restaurant especially needs an update.

location is superb. food quality is not upto mark. but this lake side property shall be in plan of everyone if you are going to kumarakon

KTDC Kumarkom located adjacent to amazing back waters, excellent location, wonderful hospitality good food at reasonable rates. We had a fantastic stay. We love to re-visit the place opting for lake view rooms facing backwaters 👌

Although the property is good, property staff appears to be inexperienced. An expert supervisor may be lacking to manage the daily operations to the staisfaction of guests.

This property is very beautiful on the banks of backwaters. Rooms are fairly ok for a small family. You might not like the buffet spread if are used to a regular 4 star rated property. However, if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind with family, you can definitely consider this.

The restaurant serves decent Kerala cuisine with a focus on local flavors—do try the fish curry and appam. There are options for boating and bird watching, which add to the appeal, especially for nature lovers. The location is also quite convenient for exploring the backwaters of Kumarakom.
