The rooms are very good. Food is very good. The atmosphere and ambience are excellent. The ktdc staff members are very fine. The boat ride is superb. We really enjoyed it.

The stay was totally worth. Very calm and peaceful place. Very well maintained property and rooms. Extremely good staffs and excellent food. Must visit place. Will recommend for everyone.

Beautifully located in midst of the lake and forest. Journey to the resort by boat was enjoyable. Only suggestion that they should arrange for prompt ferrying of guest instead of making them wait. Also to the ferry landing, vehicle can be arranged specially for elderly guests.

Superb location royal treatment

This was the actual lake palace of the travancore royal family and still is maintained more or less like how it was originally built 100 years back. The ambience is the highlight of the place, cool and serene. Expect animal sightings on summer time when the water level is low. Food is homely and delicious

Lake palace is a different experience

This was the place built by hh chithira thirunal balarama varma. The hotel still keeps the royal belongings, and couple of rooms out of the total six rooms are still maintained in the heritage way. Food is homely and good, animal sightings are seen usually in summer time. The ambience is calm and serene
