Lovely stay. Very kind and helpful staff. It’s a quaint place with bonfire at night. Well maintained property. The staff is also very punctual with food timing and requests.

My father stayed here for 3 nights during his solo tour of assam and meghalaya. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay and he was well taken care of. He especially appreciated the home style simple yet tasty food provided here

We had a very good experience during our visit to sohra. Sohra has very few accommodation options and la kupur provides a great experience. Don't expect anything luxurious. The local food was very delicious. Ample parking space. Close to the town and places of interest. John helped with planning our itinerary and informed us about very unique and interesting places which are not listed in platforms.

Cozy hotel, sweet staff

Located just outside the sohra village, the hotel is relatively small and cozy, but really nice. The rooms are very well lit and spacious. We had opted for an extra bed, which was immediately arranged by the staff. The staff is really helpful and sweet. We had our dinner and breakfast at the hotel (you don't have an option anyway, sohra village doesn't have many restaurants) and the food was amazing, with standard pricing. The stay was worth it.

Not too fancy, not too lavish! But the place itself is surrounded by nice staff and has homely feeling. Especially john is very helpful and welcoming, he also gave us pointers to visit nearby places.

La Kupar is aptly situated to most of the tourist spots in and Around Cherrapunji. The place is cozy with basic amenities that befit a nicely maintained home stay. Rooms are neat spacious, bathrooms are clean and the food is simple yet deliciously cooked home style. The owner Mr Bansan and manager Mr john are wonderful hosts who take good care of you along with their spirited staff. La Kupar is a must visit with your family and friends at Cherrapunji. You won't regret your choice at all

The stay was very comfortable and the food served was really good. The price of food was good too. John is an excellent host and was helpful throughout the stay. We stayed in the ground floor and the rooms we got are not really sound proof. Otherwise, great hospitality, good food and nice serene place.
