Prime location in white town French colony just a minute walk away from the beach , le cafe , chez Francis , rock beach, war memorial, anthe. 6 minute drive to Aurobindo ashram , well behaved staff , decent room , nice service , thank you for the stay

The location of the property is too accessible to rock beach , so we could roam by walk itself. And the room looked so neat and we'll maintained. About the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor was good and all the food was yummy.

Rooms are decent. No lift to the rooftop or breakfast area. Parking is always an issue in Pondy, the hotel managed it pretty well. But the rooms are maintained just enough, nothing great about them. No remote to the AC and the TV was operating like it was haunted. Noone from reception attended when the complaint was made. For the price the service and the amenities were on the down side. But everything is balanced just by its location!

The location of the property is good and the staff is nice. But apart from this the rooms are way beyond average. The door lock is broken, phone doesn’t work and the washrooms are also not good. Won’t recommend breakfast as well from here.

Had booked a week long stay at Le Chateau hotel’s Superior rooms with Balcony, it was a very plesant & peaceful place yet at the center of the of tourist places making it easy to tour around. There are lot of restaurants in walking distance. As for the housekeeping there were misses but when called out it was immediately catered to. As for breakfast its quite basic & repeative with mere 1.5 hr window. As rooms they are as shows in pictures but overall the villa / building is quite outdated. The staff took our special request of early breakfast & allowing us to eat outside food which im thankful for & while understanding gap persisted (mostly due to language issue youll find in the whole of Pondy) but by & large they were polite & ready to service.

The hotel location is really good. Its in the heart of white town, all the places are nearby. We booked supreme room and it was very spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel to whoever is planning to stay in whitetown

Booked 2 rooms for one night and this was our review: Very well located - just few steps from the beach. Smooth check-in experience. They have a dedicated parking space but it’s little away from the property. All basic amenities were provided - 2 water bottles, complimentary coffee / tea, bathroom kit, etc., Complimentary buffet breakfast was nice - all items tasty and also a wide spread. The bathroom was very small, and flush tank was not working in both rooms which was a big let down. TV remote was provided only on request - which was not working again. Rooms were comfortable and good for one day stay. But for the price paid, we will definitely expect a little more and flawless experience. They provide an extra cot and mattress at no extra cost if needed. Health faucet holder was also not working well in the bathroom. So overall a good experience but might reconsider for a revisit next time - might look for other options before considering this.

We checked on Saturday 1 PM and checked out Sunday 11 AM. The overall stay I can give good but not excellent and complementary food is average only but room amenities and hotel location place is awesome.

The hotel is located at a prime location near the beach but the interiors of the hotel was very disappointing. The beds were squeaky, cockroaches in washrooms. The morning breakfast was very limited as well. Overall a bad stay for the amount we paid

The hotel was decent but fell short in several areas. The rooms were clean but not adequately furnished, and they lacked modern amenities and felt somewhat outdated. Staff was polite the location was convenient, but noise from the generator disrupted sleep. The breakfast was okay but lacked variety. Overall, it’s an acceptable choice for a short stay, but improvements are needed for a more comfortable experience.

Stay was comfortable. Pros. Near to rock beach just 5 min walk. All restaurants in white town surrounds this hotel. Service is good, cons. Parking of vehicles is difficult as they will park the vehicle in some shed space about 1km from hotel if not available in road nearby. Breakfast average, food quality need to be improved.

I wish i could give a negative rating. They are literally ripping you off. We had to stay in small smelly room, may be 8x8. The rooms starts and ends as soon as you enter. Looks like many of photos uploaded are fake and so are reviews. There are photos that has pool but there is no pool in the hotel. The rooms are smelly and unclean. There is no proper ventiallation and there are 2 small windows which opens up to some pipes and rear portion of the hotel. There was a lizard in t eh bathroom and and our daughter was dead scared to go to bathroom and probably there was bedbugs as well. Whole night there was so much of noice and sound, i dont know what was happening.

Abosulute classic and french style cafe, the breakfast buffet was yum, especially the chicken sausage, would love to visit once more

Over priced & 4 times called via intercom for room service but unfortunately no body received, no proper lighting in the room, ac not worked properly.

The hotel scores only for its location. Classic rooms are small with ergonomic issues. Rooms have started showing their age. However, the most disappointing is the breakfast. Forget spread, even refill takes time. Severely mismanaged - understaffed, no bowls present for taking liquid items have to keep asking staff multiple times. And they will keep only one jug of fruit juice - causing mayhem and rush among-st guests. And after 3-4 jugs they replace it with canned juice.
