Review Of LG Resort,Pangong

Hi friends, i never preferred to write reviews because i didn’t put much attention to it. From past few months, i realized it is very important to write. And specially, writing reviews for this hotel is very important. We chose this hotel considering amazing photos and expensive price. We thought since this is expensive one, must be better in terms of services. We started 9:30 am from leh and reached at this hotel by 5 pm. On the way, there was deadly winds and rains with lot of water lodging. Due to which we got wet due to rain and cold storm. Every extra kilometer or ride was pain for us. When we couldn’t find such name of the hotel, we kept on searching by asking local people (since we didn’t have network there) and got to know it is 17 km further distant from pangong. Very difficult for us to know. We tried to be in touch on given numbers of this hotel 4 days before our trip but didn’t get any response for location assistance. When we finally reached at the distance, we hardly could find logs of direction of this logo. After we reached, we insisted them to arrange some heather or something which can help us to stay warm as we rode bike for around 180 km and were wet due to cold shivering rains. To our surprise, they said they don’t have any heater and no provision of bonfire. We requested OK fine, please serve us tea, they mentioned sorry can’t serve in your room, you have to come drink at our pantry after 7:00, this was really bad as we were much tired. After some time when i realized i caught cold, i visited to them checking medicine. They said sorry, they don’t have medicine. We didn’t have choice and i blamed myself for not having any knowledge about this place. We hardly had time to visit lake as it was at much distant from the lake really bad. I was tired and suffering from fever by 8 pm, hardly could eat and tried to sleep early by 9 to recover well in morning and enjoy the lake view and leave for return journey. The manager of that place advised to leave early from that place even to avoid bathing so that we can avoid the water lodging on the roads. I don’t know what was his intention. Was he avoiding work to be done or else. My question was than why did we come here. Surprisingly, couldn’t sleep whole night. Oxygen level was so poor that every minute spending was difficult there. I was well acclimatized at leh for 2 days and never thought would face such issue at this place. Hardly could sleep at night and wake up at 6 am to prepare to leave that place. In morning i saw everyone was crying with the same story (they couldn’t sleep. I checked with neighbors and they mentioned their oxygen level dropped up to 65 or 70. This was quite scary as nobody from the hotel cared to inform us before and take precautions. Their behavior was much ordinary and irresponsible. I am not just disappointed from the hotel.

The booking was cancel-led even when we called the number provided on mm t the day before we went. The booking was confirmed on the call but still when we reached we were denied the stay. On asking we got to know the person managing the stay has given all the cottages to a group of people booked through travel agent. It’s terrible to book a stay almost 3 months prior with proper confirmation on call and still being denied the stay in a place with no connectivity.
