The place is a gem. Located amid-st beautiful coffee plantations, it offers a peaceful and scenic retreat. The room was comfortable, well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The hospitality was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure great experience.

Wonderful location and it has an estate of it's own where you can see pepper/coffee platations. I stayed in the independent cottage which was a wonderful experience. The location is also ideal especially of you are having your own vehicle. It is not to far to reach mulayangiri peak and the main town as well. The breakfast was fabulous too. Also they did a special floral decoration for us for our anniversary which made it special.

The homestay is neat and the food was awesome. The caretaker and the owner were friendly and helpful. They helped us with a good itinerary. I am happy to recommend to my friends and relatives.

Away from hustle and bustle of city life, this is a beautiful property. Me and my wife had a great stay here. Owner is very helpful and polite. He even arranged a cab for us for sightseeing and also continuously stayed in touch and guided us throughout. Caretaker at the property is also very supportive and caring. He prepared delicious breakfast and coffee. Room is wonderful with kitchen, dressing area, lawn with swing, and the best part is huge window with the views of coffee plantations. Overall a great place to stay with your friends and family.

5. livingston homestay is very nice specially for chilling out person and couple..nice greenery..full coffee estate arround the homestay..room was so big clean and in kitchen all facilities was there..care taker rajendra is nice person..only one thing is not there t.v😀 that's why you can chill without any rubbish media news.but for kids it's little problem.. otherwise overall nice stay

Livingston has an excellent mix of staying amid nature while having access of city. You wake up to birds chirping, laze around in winter sun on a swing and in case want something to be delivered zomato serves this area. What more you could ask for

Place is at very convenient location in Chikmagalur, not to far from city but far enough to leave city noise behind. Property is very beautiful and is equipped with all the necessity, rooms are large and comfortable, we were actually surprised to see the room size which are quite spacious, our rooms were east facing and in the morning you can experience the sunrise behind jungle trees from room only drinking very tasty coffee. The owner and helper were very kind and helpful. The coffee estate is like 10 steps from our door and and you can listen to the sounds or birds chirping. We saw many birds including peacocks. I must suggest this place to anyone.

Our stay was lovely. Rooms were neat and clean, food was great, and rajendra, the caretaker, is a loving soul. Sachin, our host, despite being away from the premises, assisted in welcoming us and gave detailed notes on how to plan our itinerary; we really appreciated it. The homestay was set inside a large coffee planation. We took several walks through it, catching some glimpses of the shy peacocks which reside there. It's filled with rows of tall trees, short coffee plants with bright red berries, and melodious chirping birds, and through it pathways were paved where we could have a nice stroll. We have several cups of the great coffee that rajendra made and the beans come from the plantation itself; you could practically see the green coffee beans being dried as you sip your hot beverage and get refreshed. Altogether, it was a splendid experience. Would definitely come back when we visit chikmagalur next time.

We stayed for two nights at Livingston homestay and absolutely loved the experience! To start with, the hosts and caretakers were extremely sweet and enthusiastic about having us there. We drove from Bangalore to escape the noise of the crackers and we found this property to stay in. It is very peaceful and beautiful with 22 acres of coffee plantations around the homestay. We enjoyed the morning walk at the estate and had a relaxing weekend. The location of the homestay is perfect too, and we found that Mullayanagiri and Shooting Place were reasonably close by. The Chikmagalur town was also very near. We had an amazing time, with delicious food and snacks. The homestay was beautiful inside and out, very tastefully designed! Will definitely stay here if we're in Chikmagalur again! 🙂

everything was great for a short stay. good is good value for money. option of swiggy / Zomato delivery too to the property. bonfire was on till late night. nice walk into the plantation with sounds of peacocks early morning.

It was indeed a pleasure spending a night at the place with great service from the caretaker even at midnight. The homely food from the family staying in the compound is worth commenting. Great hospitality experience.

If you want to spent a night or two inside a coffee plantation, then this is the place. The caretaker Rajendra will take care of all your needs. He is a beautiful person. If you take the attic room, then just open the balcony and you are inside the plantation. In the morning, you can explore the plantation and if you are lucky, you can See peacock. The food was good and carries local flavour.
