Nice ambiance. And beautiful stay near to the forest. The staf was very friendly and helpful to plan the entire trip where he arranged all the activities in thekkady for us. Our travel to thekkady was not very well planned before visit but lucky to have a person to help there.

Main attraction is this property is location, walkable distance of boating station of thekkady and forest view balcony is amazing, rooms size and toilets are very spacious and usefull, caretaker character character is very good and nice, negatives are property is not providing drinking water bathing liquid or soap

Room and toilet is spacious and very good. Forest view from balcony is superb. This is more like a room in an apartment building. No other facilities are available. There are many restaurants and tea shops within 1km distance.

Found this place through mmt. It's basically a homestay of 3 floors, 1 room on each floor. The room size is gigantic, 47 ft in length and around 12 ft in width. Large bathroom. The ceiling height was also 12 feet or so. Big enough balcony, with amazing view of the forest and bamboo plantation. Breakfast was tasty, didn't try lunch/dinner though.

The room itself is amazing and the views into periyar tiger reserve are stunning! well maintained and clean. Mr dipak also offers amazing home cooked meals. However, there is no covered parking - but mr dipak kindly offered to keep my motorcycle in a shaded spot.

I came by late 8 pm on the 9th due heavy rain. And my room allotted to other person and given for short circuit in room and stay another place and no any facilities available for room. Very bed experience with the hotel.

Experienced very poor hospitality. Had booked two rooms for three nights for self and parents. Nobody comes to clean the room, no bedsheet changed during our stay, no towel change during our stay.
