Great ambience, perfect location if you are planning to attend cultural events like kathakali, kallaripattu, etc. The hktel feels more like an extended home rather than a hotel. It will give an experience that you’re living in a traditional kerala house.

My stay at this location was truly delightful. I arrived on a rainy day, greeted by a charming little pond in front of a cozy cottage that blended beautifully with the natural surroundings. It brought me such joy. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive. This is an ideal vacation spot for anyone looking to unwind.

Excellent stay. All staff are very humble and soft spoken and very attentive. Hygienic and tasty food, nice room and outdoor is beautifully maintained. Place is perfect for total relaxation and above all mr shailesh a very soft spoken, very cooperative and humble guy take care for everything.

Loved our stay in this heritage hotel. The location is great and all the main attractions are in walking distance. The rooms are clean, the service is nice. Most importantly, very well maintained and aesthetically designed.

It was a family vacation, we spent 3 nights at maim house heritage hotel, kochi. It’s in the heart of the city, most of the places are nearby, rooms are excellent, very clean and comfortable, friendly staff i must say. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and other family members!

Everything was nice: service, room and especially food. We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was our best food experience in this travelling. Breakfast was traditional, served to the table, not a buffet, but also really tasty. Calm and relaxing stay

It is our pleasure to stay in such a cozy cottage. This property is highly maintained. Food quality is excellent. Staff members are very much decent and cooperative. This is a place to relax with peace in mind.

Elegantly done aesthetics. Every corner of the 120 year old heritage property exudes finesse and a old world charm. Right at the heart of fort kochi is this gem of a place. Neatly done and has just 9 rooms with ample parking space for about 10 cars inside the premises. So never overcrowded and adds a leisurely feel to the stay. Right from the person at the reception desk to the restaurant & bar staff were always ready to help with a pleasing smile on face. Stayed just for a day in way to munnar but had an amazing time. Will come back to kochi just to spend a couple of days more at this property for the warmth and hospitality rendered. Top notch service. Adequate room size with a comfortable bed and a full fledged minibar. Clean bathroom with hair dryer and biotique toiletries. Separate glass enclosed shower area keeps the rest of the bathroom dry and neat. The dining place at the verandah is so old school laidback. Perfect for evening beers and delicious appetizers. The lawn and a small freshwater pond adds to the charm. While leaving we had the complimentary breakfast that had bread basket, honey, butter, jams, idiyappam, chicken stew, idly with sambhar & chutney, boiled bananas, juices and coffee to order. Wholesome and tasty. No complaints at any point. I hope they continue the good work. Highly recommended

The property is a located quite close to the fort kochi beach and had easy access to most of the spots around. We booked their ac cottages and they were really cozy, had a stocked snack tray and mini bar, basic amenities and a beautiful bathroom with running hot water. The property itself is really picturesque with lots of old trees, a lily pond, restaurants and a resto bar. We were served breakfast on the veranda restaurant that wraps like a porch around the 120 year old colonial building. They have also do room service and have a pretty amazing selection of food. Also, got a small bookshelf with amazing books that we can borrow while staying. The staff were so courteous and welcoming, i had to get a late checkout and they offered to let me stay at the room for a few more hours.

mãi house heritage hotel, fort kochi, kerala, india my name is manu. it was in early february, my wife and i decided to take a trip. we were in fort kochi, from the 16th -18th feb 2023. our first trip with child. as parents of an 18 month old boy, we were going to need all the help we could get. our plan: to visit the kochi biennale 2023 and try to cover as much ground (as possible) in two days. mai house is the labour of love of liju baby and his wife, lijy. the property has 8-9 well appointed rooms, and attentive, service oriented staff who afforded us every courtesy during our stay to make sure that we and the child were comfortable. we were entertaining guests who were international designers and architects and people who looking to get the best out of the biennale experience. i can safely say, that we had many a productive discussion safely sheltered in the corridors of this tharavaad style house; or, beat the heat in style at the mango showers restaurant. the kitchen staff was very attentive to our needs, and on more than one occasion, custom made meals for my son. another occasion that truly stands out was: most of our guests were international artists and architects. one of them in particular, was from the northern region of spain (galicia) they are a seafaring, fishing folk. the steward expertly recommended a delicious karimeen fish moilee; paired with some hot-off-the-tava crispy parota. one bite in, and she was immediately transported to her fondest memories of how to savour the best taste of the fish. they are a new property, for sure. barely a couple months old. but, if they keep this up, they are sure to be successful. all the best!

I had an amazing 2 days here , the staff was soo cordial and friendly x food was tasty and the amenities provided was perfect, the room was spacious and clean , they had ample car parking space , beautiful atmosphere and Ambience , perfect for families and solo travellers alike , situated at walking distance from fort kochi and Mattanchery with good connectivity, will definitely visit again.

The location was just mesmerising and it’s near to all the famous sites in fort kochi …..it’s kinda in middle of the town and the food was okayish the lunch was okay but dinner was really good , we get a complimentary breakfast and the service was really great my whole family liked Balu the service guy who works over there
