the mandu resort is located in the lap of nature surrounded by hills, paddy field, tea garden and forest. ideal to spend a couple of days away from the busy city life and unwind amidst the greenery doing nothing, just relaxing…the wooden cottages are best, offering magnificent views, staring from sunrise to sunset…one can spend the whole day in the veranda reading, listening to music, spending time with family…the staffs are very courteous…food is also excellent….stated on 22-23 november, 2024

It's was awesome experience in mandu as staff was quite cooperative and room was clean, comfortable atmosphere specially swimming pool and extra activity also. And food was quite delicious

Rooms - premium cottage was clean with wooden decor and beautiful balcony amenities - more then what i could expect- resort even had a zipline and burma bridge. Infinity pool was nicely kept and offered beautiful views. Breakfast - spread is decent, food tasty staff - very friendly, professional location - decent location, right next to iora hotel

Best stay in kaziranga

I stayed at mandu, the escape resort during my two day trip to kaziranga. The stay was quite comfortable especially with the kind guidance and support of mr. Vikash thapa, the duty manager, who helped me with the safari to both north and central zones, as well as some recommendations for my further trip ahead and made sure my stay was safe and comfortable. Also thanks to ms. Anjuna for her quick help whenever required. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone visiting kaziranga to check this place out ( they have a sprawling property with astounding views from the pool and camp site) and seek the help of mr. Vikash to enjoy your holiday at kaziranga.

Check in was smooth. Accommodation provided was independent cottage. Price was rather steep, in 5 figures, but understandable as i had booked just 3-4 days earlier and it was tourist season. My co-travellers were accommodated in an independent tent, which was pretty luxurious with an attached pukka bathroom with all modern amenities. I preferred my cottage because there was more privacy due to the built up walls. There was a sitting area (verandah) with two chairs and a table attached to both the cottage and the tent with a grassy lawn in front - good for sipping morning tea and relaxing. Took a walk in the morning on the grounds and saw that various activities - soft archery, air-gun shooting, commando net, burma bridge, atv riding and bait fishing had been provided. There was even a swimming pool with deck chairs where one could relax with a beer and/or take a swim. It's a good place to stay for at least a couple of days to fully enjoy the facilities.

Pleasant ambience rooms in different clusters give wide open and free space feel lovely landscaping excellent food courteous and delightful service attitude of people. Mr. Ajit dais went out of the way to arrange us a birthday cake for my daughter around 11 pm in the night on the day we checked in. A delightful help which he need not have bothered. Also ms. Anjuna helped with the elephant safari and the jeep safari taking away all our concerns. Many such instances an excellent helpful attitude. Because of such instances, would definitely like to stay here again.

Great location, facilities, staff and of-course awesome food. Untamed nature, good behaved and cooperative staff, good house keeping, all modern amenities without disturbing nature. Best part was restaurant serving awesome food.
