While property is well maintained, staff needs to be more courteous and helpful. I needed a local city guide which was not available, when asked for it a old file was opened and some Xerox pages about city were shown to me, this was not acceptable. I was also told to me to go to tourism dept to get such city guide.

Location wise excellent , rooms are big rooms with lot of woodwork, food and restaurant was just average, overall good for a one night stay

Location is very good, but actually we found a small spider on our bed which is never expected from such a hotel with * ratings and tariffs.Also telephone inside room is not working.

An unique experience
During my family tour to Tiruvanantapuram, I had stayed in KTDC MASCOT hotel from 13 th to 15th Aug-2025. The hotel is a colonial building & a perfect blend of heritage charm, with modern luxury & mesmerizing ambience surrounded by lush green and serene environment. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished & equipped with modern luxurious amenities creating a stunning experience. The lobby is quite palatial with impressive wooden architecture. The staffs are incredibly courteous, cordial & provide exceptional service including necessary information & guidance to the best satisfaction of the guests, which is truly commendable. The restaurant offers a pleasant culinary experience with high standard food & prompt service at reasonable price. The hotel is located near all the key landmarks adding convenience to the tourists. There is ample parking space with well maintained gardens with lush green environment adds to the Pleasure. Despite being a Govt owned property, it is one of the best Hotels in Tiruvanantapuram, where professionalism can be felt everywhere which is more than any other 5star hotel. Most importantly the personal attention to every detail & personal care of Mr. Santhosh, General Manager, KTDC coupled with his amenable behavior to guests is remarkable & adds value to the property. My stay in the hotel was pleasant beyond expectations & the experience is unique. One should enjoy staying in the hotel which generates a feeling of satisfaction & self respect.

Comfortable Hotel.
Stayed there for one night on the 26th of Aug because had to attend a family function on 27th morning and immediately return to Delhi. Check in was super smooth. Been using this hotel for a long time but came to trivandrum after almost 7 years. Was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel was maintained so well. Rooms are larger than a standard city hotel ( room). Found the some necessary upgrades have been carried out which make the room more comfortable. Food was good. A buffet was available for dinner with a very decent range of dishes. The grounds of the hotel are also very well maintained with lots of green area. Lots of parking space. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Have already booked the hotel in Aug ( 15th) for 19 nights. Going to Trivandrum to attend a family wedding. Looking forward to the stay.

Wonderful experience
It was really a nice experience staying at Mascot Hotel. The ambience is the prime factor which attracted me the most. A calm and peaceful environment is what we could experience there. I would recommend everyone to have a stay here at Mascot hotel once in your lifetime if you are visiting the captal of Kerala. The flowers, trees, treehut, the lawn area, the wooden art works makes you feel peaceful in natural environment. I would like to highlight the following aspects related to Mascot hotel. 1)Rooms:- The rooms are clean, furnished and well maintained. It makes us feel to stay there for a long period of time. Moreover,it is airconditioned too offering a beautiful view through the window. 2) Hygiene Rooms and surroundings are neat and tidy. 3) Amenities All the amenities were good enough and satisfactory. It adds a star to the comfortness of the stay making all the arrangements just like our home. 4)Food The food was also nice and really good in all aspects. Every dishes seem to be tastier. 5) Staff Staff were friendly and nice to deal with. They were available all the time to resolve our queries. The approach of the staff makes us feel comfortable in many ways. 6)Safety Safety wise, I feel it is the best place to spend your precious time with the family. We would feel living in a safer place amid a busy place like Trivandrum. I would like to make a suggestion from my part which I think is not so important considering the facilities that Mascot provides. It would be nice to have a remote for the AC console.Everytime, we need to go near the console and change it manually which I find it difficult sometime. This is my feedback about Mascot Hotel. It is a wonderful property that brings you close to nature, and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning and evening walks within the premises. We truly enjoyed our stay. Overall I would rate it 10/10 in all the aspects and facilities it provide. Thankyou.

Good place for stay with family
Good place for staying with family. no rush and have lot quite areas. pool was good. the property is quite old, hence you can see the traces of aging here and there. staffs are professionally behaving and supportive.

Comfortable Stay and Elegant Property. Location is excellent. The Beef woth Mushroom and Vegetables served by them was way too good. It was on a weekday and the property was very peaceful. However, the breakfast was average and the coffee that came along could have been improved.
