a luxurious escape at minimalist hotel goa: a review my recent stay at the minimalist hotel goa was nothing short of exceptional. nestled in the heart of one of india's most vibrant and picturesque coastal destinations, the minimalist hotel offers an experience that blends luxury, tranquility, and modern aesthetics. whether you're a traveler seeking a peaceful retreat, a couple on a romantic getaway, or a professional looking for a quiet place to work remotely, this hotel promises a memorable stay. in this review, i’ll take you through my experience at the minimalist hotel and why it stands out as one of the best places to stay in goa. location and accessibility one of the biggest advantages of the minimalist hotel is its prime location. situated close to both the beach and key attractions like the kala academy, it offers easy access to the best of goa. whether you are planning to relax on the sandy shores or immerse yourself in goa's rich culture and history, the hotel's location is perfect. dabolim airport is just a short drive away, making it a convenient option for both domestic and international travelers. the proximity to both the bustling city life and the serene beach ensures that guests can enjoy the best of both worlds. despite being near the city's vibrant spots, the hotel itself is nestled in a quiet area, providing a peaceful retreat from the noise and crowds. aesthetic and design true to its name, the minimalist hotel goa is a celebration of minimalism. the design and architecture reflect a contemporary yet understated elegance. clean lines, neutral tones, and a focus on natural materials make the interiors both calming and aesthetically pleasing. the rooms are spacious, with plenty of natural light pouring in through large windows, offering guests a sense of openness and relaxation. the simplicity of the design, paired with luxurious touches like plush bedding, ambient lighting, and modern fixtures, creates an atmosphere that feels both homely and sophisticated. the minimalist approach extends beyond the rooms and into the common areas, with open spaces, tasteful artwork, and subtle greenery adding to the hotel’s serene vibe. room comfort and amenities during my stay, i had the pleasure of staying in one of their deluxe rooms, which perfectly encapsulated the hotel’s minimalist philosophy. the room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a king-sized bed that provided the ultimate comfort. the neutral palette of the room, combined with soft lighting and minimalist furniture, created a cozy yet elegant environment. the bathroom was equally impressive, with modern fittings, a rain shower, and a selection of high-quality toiletries. the attention to detail was evident, from the fluffy towels to the well-designed storage spaces that made the room feel uncluttered and organized. for tech-savvy travelers, the room included amenities like fast wi-fi, a large flat-screen tv, and a bluetooth speaker, making it easy to unwind or stay connected. what really stood out to me was the small but thoughtful touches—complimentary bottled water, a personalized welcome note, and a selection of artisanal snacks that showcased local goan flavors. it’s these little details that elevate the experience and make guests feel truly valued. dining experience the minimalist hotel’s on-site restaurant offers a culinary experience that complements the overall philosophy of the hotel. the menu is carefully curated, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and simple, yet innovative dishes. during my stay, i had the opportunity to enjoy both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and i was impressed by the quality of the food. breakfast was a delightful mix of continental and goan options. i especially enjoyed the freshly baked bread and the variety of tropical fruits. for those looking to indulge in local flavors, the goan curries and seafood options at dinner are a must-try. the chefs clearly take pride in their craft, and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. the restaurant’s ambiance is another highlight. overlooking a tranquil garden, the dining area is both airy and inviting. the minimalist décor extends here as well, with simple wooden tables, soft lighting, and a focus on the natural surroundings. the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations based on my preferences. service and hospitality the staff at the minimalist hotel goa truly go above and beyond to ensure that every guest’s stay is perfect. from the moment i arrived, i was greeted with warm smiles and prompt service. the check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the front desk staff taking the time to explain the hotel’s amenities and answer any questions i had. throughout my stay, the hospitality was consistently exceptional. housekeeping ensured that the room was always spotless and well-stocked, while the concierge was more than happy to assist with local recommendations and bookings for activities. the personalized service really made me feel at home, and the staff’s attention to detail was commendable. facilities and amenities in addition to its beautifully designed rooms and outstanding dining options, the minimalist hotel offers a range of facilities that cater to the needs of all types of travelers. the hotel’s infinity pool, set against the backdrop of lush greenery, is a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the goan sun. the pool area is equipped with comfortable loungers, and the poolside bar offers refreshing drinks and light snacks throughout the day. for those who wish to maintain their fitness routine while traveling, the hotel offers a small but well-equipped gym. although minimalist in size, the gym has all the necessary equipment for a good workout, including cardio machines and free weights. one of the unique features of the minimalist hotel is its focus on wellness. the hotel’s spa offers a range of treatments that are designed to relax and rejuvenate. i opted for a traditional ayurvedic massage, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring goa. sustainability and eco-consciousness the minimalist hotel goa is not just about luxury and aesthetics; it also takes sustainability seriously. the hotel has implemented several eco-friendly practices, including the use of solar energy, water conservation measures, and a commitment to reducing plastic waste. during my stay, i appreciated the use of glass bottles instead of plastic ones, as well as the availability of organic toiletries in the bathrooms. the hotel’s commitment to sustainability extends to its dining options as well. the restaurant sources ingredients from local farmers and suppliers, supporting the local economy while also ensuring that guests enjoy the freshest produce available. final thoughts in conclusion, my stay at the minimalist hotel goa was an unforgettable experience. from the stunning minimalist design to the top-notch service, every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. the attention to detail, the focus on sustainability, and the personalized service all contributed to making my stay truly special. if you’re planning a trip to goa and are looking for a hotel that offers luxury, tranquility, and modern comfort, the minimalist hotel should be at the top of your list. whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, this hotel offers something for everyone. i left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and eager to return.. no. a perfect stay at minimalist hotel goa: a short review the minimalist hotel goa offers a tranquil and luxurious retreat in the heart of goa, combining modern aesthetics with exceptional service. its prime location near the beach and popular attractions makes it a great choice for both relaxation and exploration. the hotel’s design stays true to its name, featuring clean, elegant spaces with a minimalist touch. the rooms are spacious, well-lit, and come with modern amenities like fast wi-fi, plush bedding, and rain showers. the attention to detail is evident, from personalized touches like artisanal snacks Had lots of expectations, but not met upto the mark.
Rated 3.0 by Rahul Goel . Family Traveller . Jun 30, 2024
We had heard a lot about minimalist chain, afyer some research we were quite excited to stay. We had booked 2 rooms, as we were 2 kids and 2 adults. The younger on 2. 5 yrs old, still were gives one room on second floor and other one on 6th floor. We should understand the expectations of a family and kids specially. Despite the request no solution was given. Also next day the lift went out of order and we had to climb 6 floors to manage our daily needs. That was really a disaster, didn't expect that to happen.

Poor Stay
Rated 2.0 by Prabal Chakraborty . Nov 28, 2024
The room service was bad. I used to drop my room key for cleaning in the morning, but when i use to come back in the evening, the room cleaning would not have been done. Even though it’s a relatively new hotel, still there was water dripping from the ceiling in the lobby. Not worth the money they are charging- you can get much better hotel in this price in goa

It was my worst hotel experience ever. The room, the air conditioning, the cleaning staff, the food, everything was the absolute worst. I would never ever recommend anyone visit this hotel. I left the hotel a day earlier even though i had paid for 2 days because it was that bad.

This place should get an inspection from health and safety grounds. Does not have power back up . Lift stops working and guests need to climb stairs . Water runs out . The room has water leakage , peeling paint . Minimalist is the hotel that wants money without providing any service Amit and Lulu will ensure your stay experience is sub optimal 😅
