I went to bishnupur for a short trip as i hqve always felt a connection with the place. This is my third stay at monalisa lodge and as always the people are welcoming and humble. They have their own restaurant which serves you with homely food at a reasonable price. Located at a prime location in bishnupur monalisa lodge is quiet and serene place to spend your time.

Receptionist behavior is very good,polite.As per lodge policy Towel to be provided by the authority in the room but not found,during check out when I informed the receptionist he told me I have to ask strange. No emergency number,menu card found in the room & no room service boy also informed us. As per the receptionist for breakfast we have to inform previous day. As per the Receptionist Food section, it is not attached to the lodge.Ordered breakfast today, tea & bread butter by phone, and also direct 1 to 1 both way waited for more than 30mins when I contact again by phone informed me the food will be delivered within 2mins,again wait for more than 10mins went to the restaurant(so called) still they are preparing,after few mins less quantity delivered,again went to the restaurant and told them after few mins they deliver. Not a very good experience at all.

It is a horrible experience for us traveling with my family with a child. We have booked on monilisa lodge for 24th of december. But monilisa lodge refused to give us any room. Instead they sent us into a remote area far from the city where they are asking for more money and they had used vulgar language to us. In a rush season we have no where to stay with a child in cold. And after calling make my trip they also don't arrange us any hotel or lodge. I will tell everyone not to book from make my trip for cheating everyone and also monalisa lodge.
