Mr. Kundan and his team's hospitality was beyond words.

TV no channels. Bathroom: Broken fixtures. Extra bed charges even when booked for 2+2. Bathroom stinks of old furniture. Dusty furniture, felt as if living in a big store room. Bare minimum overpriced food menu. Breakfast: Beans/bread/omelet. That's it! Foreigners get priority in food ordering! The so called Maharajas suite is a outer section of a big hall converted into a room like area with lots of doors. Lacks privacy. The royals expect you and come stay and pay for their royalty and treat you like an ordinary citizens!

Well, the good news is that staff and managers are exceedingly courteous and helpful, giving us great advice and booking experiences and cabs for us. The rooms and the hotel in general is quite a heritage site. The decor and style is very similar to the style of the City Palace but not as lavish of course. The not-as good news is that the hotel has seen better days air conditioners leaked and the faucets were a little leaky. Plus, the website shows two beautiful pools but the larger one is not actually working and the smaller one was unusable due to construction on the estate. Having said that, when we complained about the leaky air conditioner, the staff moved us to a larger and even more beautiful room without out asking for it. We were told there were only eight rooms available in the hotel and we only saw one other couple during our two days so expect to have the large sitting room and veranda to yourself! There was even a puppet show put on in the entry with only our family in attendance! For the price, it is still a very good deal and only about 2 km from the Pink City.

The place is run by a family that takes great care of it and the guests. The staff were really helpful too. Definitely going to stay here longer the next time we're in Jaipur

Our stay at Laila Palace was good, it’s a cozy beautiful palace. Limited rooms, good mannered staff and prompt service. Food is good as we were on a business trip so couldn’t use more facilities. They have a night club, swimming pool, a small but good breakfast area. Will visit again and would surely recommend others.

Even the basic things are not provided. No one to attend you. Feel as if you are cheated on the name of resort.

The place is majestic, serene and warmed by the hotel staff especially the reception guy Suraj. They provided us with whatever and whenever we needed it. Whether food at midnight or cab for sightseeing at the best prices or more than one heater in the room. The garden, peacocks and vintage cars around the place were worth a beauty. It did give a palatial feel and stay experience. Will visit again for sure.

It was a pleasant surprise to find such a stately Oasis in the middle of the hub-dub of Jaipur. The rooms were spacious and royally decorated. The staff were well mannered and helpful. The property is maintained and you cannot miss the canine, shadow. Overall, a memorable experience.
