Feels like a hostel and is not clean

I booked this room for 2 nights. Good location near saket l block market and city-walk mall. The spacious room was not clean, with old soap bar marks, hairs, moldy crevices, and sticky surfaces. As a bachelor traveller i am not that picky but i did not trust the white (dingy grey) bedding and towels and feared no sleep due to itchinessthe primary reason was the common kitchen and dining table is directly outside the room with people socializing, so felt i’d get no sleep. It feels like a pricey youth hostel. For the $ there are other hotels in close proximity that are clean and private. So with my zero hindi, i figured handing in the keys and apologetically letting the ‘owners son’ know i was “too old to stay in a youth hostel. I’m sorry. ” he kindly offered to show me another room. I thanked him and assured him i had already inquired at another hotel and secured a room They sides with the property who stated i had not checked out therefore namastey homes could not rent the room the second night! as a canadian tourist who adores india but speaks no hindi, i was stuck paying 2 nights for a room i stayed in for 60-75 minutes. Bottom line, so no one suffers, know this is not a clean nor private room and the ad pics are deceiving.
