Stay was comfortable and the view was beautiful. One suggestion they should provide electric flask in room so that one can get hot water as required

Had an excellent stay in neora valley retreat, it is a mini paradise in rishop. The location of the resort is amid lush greenery and nature where you can enjoy trees, flowers and chirping of birds. The view of the mountains from the resort is breathtaking, on clear day you can visualize the kanchenjunga range sipping tea from the balcony of the cottage. The wooden cottages are beautiful, well maintained and quite spacious. The washrooms are cleaned with all basic amenities. They do house keeping and room servicing every day. The staffs and owners are quite polite and friendly. The food is very tasty and the food options are satisfactory. The cottages are aesthetically designed and the resort is spread across a vast area where you can take morning and afternoon walk. The place is also recommended bird photographers, there are lot of birding hotspots around. Will visit again this paradise with family in near future

Our stay at neora valley retreat was excellent. The cottage was at the hilltop and the whole horizon was visible from the cottage. The service was also praiseworthy. The behavior of the staff of the retreat was decent. The food was good.

Our stay at neora valley retreat was amazing.The place is just perfect ,surrounded with trees and a beautiful view..the owners are really friendly and cooperative..the food was great..rooms were very clean.the best part is all the cottages have privacy..they are situated a lil far from one another if you want to spend a weekend away from the hustle bustle with frens and family then this is the place.

The food, hospitality and the serene location were the most unforgettable things during the trip. The owner and the staffs were really great. The only thing i want to mention is, the last 10 min road is quite rough, hence please take big cars. It is really difficult to ascend to the steep road with a small car, we faced the same.

Excellent stay. Beautiful scenic beauty. Far from the madding crowd. All details have been looked into. Rooms and washrooms were clean. During power failure generator was working. Provision for solar power is also there. Very good staff. Very helpful we felt it more as we are senior citizens. Food was very good. Variety of food was provided as per individual liking. They gave freshly cooked food. 24 hours hot water was available in the washroom. Bed warmer was there which helped to have a good sleep in the cold weather. Rohan the proprietor is excellent as a person. He was always there whenever we needed a helping hand. If i have a chance i plan to visit the place again.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Last couple of miles road was in a bad shape but i believe that is for everyone staying at rishap and needs immediate repair. The owner couple was very nice and helpful. The food cost was very reasonable and plenty in quantity with good quality maintained. Enjoyable stay. It seemed they are a little short staffed and needed extra time to clean the rooms, but existing staffs are polite and helpful. One area of concern is the travel cars are controlled by local syndicates, who are extremely unprofessional for keeping promises and may deter more tourists from coming. Need addressing by local authority. Highly recommended accomodation.

Perfect stay in the lap of nature

The resort is located in a huge area full of trees and plants. It feels like as if you are staying in the lap of nature. Food cost is reasonable and really delicious. Amenities are good enough considering rishop which is a remote village in the mountains of north bengal.

Mountain view cottages have a 270-300 degrees view of the mountains and snow clad peaks. Had a full and clear view of the Kanchenjunga for almost half a day. A paradise for bird watchers. Cordial and helpful staff and very friendly hosts Tashi and family made our stay comfortable and a great stay.

Staying is excellent. Nice and well hospitality offered by the staffs. Food is good. We have done bonfire as well as chicken barbeque there. The only negative thing is that there is no proper road for cars (even small cars. The road condition is pathetic. You may have to walk a certain km to reach the homestay. Except that everything is so good and we enjoyed our stay there.

Serene, tranquil and a perfect mountain life experience

I stayed in the retreat for 2 nights and it was the most tranquil and serene mountain stay i had ever experienced. The staff were very courteous and professional. The services were also prompt. The food was good enough, considering they are in an isolated location. The roads were terrible but that also is understandable because rishyap is very much disconnected from other areas and that is what makes to so serene. I would recommend as many people as i can to stay in the retreat for a few days and experience its bliss. And i will definitely be visiting it again.
