We had a great stay at nook residency. The dormitory that we booked had eight beds and 2 toilets. Very clean room. Staffs were friendly.

Superb hotel. No extra cash for hot water for drinking and bathing. 24*7 active reception. They also guide the best tourist spot

Actually i belongs to telugu. Management can speak english hindhi. So easy to communicate. And drinking hot water facility ia there. Since its budget hotel we can not expect free breakfast. But there ia facility pay and eat. Since canten has attached here. All over its good to stay. Thanks.

Hotel location is bad but hotel is fine, i went there for some hours only. Still not a bad option to choose from.

The nook hotel is located in the middle of a hillock with only a pedestrian access from the market side. Might be unsuitable for senior citizens or persons with limited mobility. The hotel is situated very close to the upper bazaar ( less than 3 min walk down the hill) with a close proximity to restaurants, shopping area, local markets etc. The size of the rooms is very compact although kept neat and clean. The glass windows ( non opening) are on the same side as the main door long the balcony leading to a lack of privacy and absolutely no ventilation barring a small opening. The ceiling is very low and can be easily touched by hand with no fan fitted, although we didnt need as we visited in august but is a big limiting factor. The current lone caretaker was helpful. The inhouse restaurant is majorly for non-veg dishes with very limited veg options. Suggest to visit near y ab or kailash par-bat for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Nearby ooty coffee house is a good option for early breakfast.
