The hotel has a beautiful location right on the shore, and although it doesn’t have a private beach, you can easily walk a few meters to access it. The staff were polite and helpful, which we appreciated.
We had booked a family suite, and while the rooms were neat and clean, there were issues that should not be overlooked the head shower was leaking, and the bathroom lock was broken. For the food, it was just “okay.” However, when you are paying a premium price, you naturally expect more variety and better options than what was offered.
The most disappointing part was the swimming pool. The water smelled unpleasant and was visibly dirty. When visiting Havelock, a good swimming pool is something you really look forward to, and this was a huge letdown for us.
To conclude, the property itself is beautiful, but it is very, very poorly managed. When you charge guests a premium, the least you can provide is a smooth and enjoyable experience. We truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on these areas because this place has the potential to be truly outstanding if managed well.
