I am usually not rude at all but you ordered for breakfast and dinner all the 3 days of your stay and had left the premises without paying the bill instead of the bill being handed over to you, I am sure if we had not chased you for the bill and not threatened to make you pay, you would have written a good review.

Had a relaxed getaway, loved the Homestay and cherry on top is Kanchanjangha view right infront of our room! Available driver for road trips and food was nice( home cooked and the quantity was just right)! In short, perfect stay near Dali monestry and perfect location for transportation availability!

Good view, but service needs improvement

The stay at Pahari Soul was overall decent — clean rooms and a good location. The main issue was with service. We were five people but received only four tea and sugar sachets, which the staff said was “policy.” It felt strange that something so minor couldn’t be adjusted. We even had to buy milk powder from outside to make tea. When we asked for extra sugar, we were told it would be deducted from the next day’s allotment. Small gestures make a big difference in hospitality, and this rigid approach felt unnecessary. That said, the view from the property is beautiful and makes up for a lot. Baki sab thik thaa!

I am so sorry you had to face this issue. I checked on this personally and my in house senior staff did not know about it and it was a new boy who had just joined was taking care of those. No excuses it was our oversight, thank you for pointing this out, ofcourse the tea bags and creamer should have been provided, although its replenished only once a day but if there are 5 then 5 should have been provided. We are sorry

We have housekeeping who clean the room everyday, we change linen after check out so I as an owner know this and check myself and we had given you clean rooms, we did not upgrade you as there were no other rooms available. It was peak monsoon and if you came with wet umbrellas and shoes the floor will get wet

We stayed at attic 1 room, and the room was great. I wish to visit darjeeling again and stay at this homestay again. One con is its wifi, which does not work most of the time. Another negative aspect is that the attendants pressurise to return to hotel by 10 pm, which affects the quality of travel along with the mood of the tourists. I hope pahari soul resolve these issues, until I visit again.

We are glad you liked the room, we will check the WiFi issues. Only reason why we tell our guests is because of the scarcity of cabs after 9pm from main town, otherwise we provide numbers to the guests and even if the gates are locked, which we have to do for safety, you can always call as our staff stay in the property

Best homestay i think. 1:- Own car parking. 2:- Balcony=Tiger hill. 3.:- Home made food... and you can choose your diet. 4:- luxury rooms are really specious with neat and clean washroom. 5:- Room heater; heating bedsheet; kettle; Regular room cleaning; Almirah available with basic amenities

Superb Location and Budget Friendly. Food is tasty. The only feedback is we were asked to change our room despite of online booking. It's best to avoid such situation. Overall stay was nice.

I was close to all the sightseeing places.. The owner was so humble and cooperative person. Room had all the basic facilities and quite clean. They also served delicious food in a nominal rate. overall it was a nice experience. I will recommend it to every person visiting Darjeeling.
