Extremely nicely decorated guest house, with really excellent staff. Johnson was particularly sweet and helpful. There are two levels of lovely outdoor terraces, with hammocks to chill out on, and photo albums chronicling the extensive travels of the owner ... A fellow traveler and adventurer. Well located, close to the center of Alleppey.

Just across the bus stop when you take the foot bridge. Spacious rooms and friendly hosts. You can also get travel tips from the host as he is local. They also rent out cycles and scooters. They also conduct kyak tours of the villages through the backwaters. Carry a mosquito repellent spray along.

Try only if you don't have options

The owner tried to misguide us by saying no confirmation rec'd from MMT. Later he checked how much I paid to MMT and then allot ed rooms. Surprisingly he refused to give mattress to my rooms although I booked for 3 people in single room. He asked to somehow adjust in double bed. Thanks to MMT who helped me get the mattress by calling hotel. Apart from poor rooms and bathroom you don't get anything else as service. Manager asked us to clean up the mess after dinner too. How shocking for guests.

Not recommended for anyone. No staff. Rooms not clean. No proper bed linen available. No facility for even getting a cup of tea/coffee. No restaurants available close by. They need to visit Illam Hertiage in Kochi to take a lesson on running a bb.
