Ri kynjai was everything we hoped for. We wanted a quiet day after a month full of wedding chaos. It was the perfect getaway for us as we were in guwahati at that time. The service was excellent, the staff was very courteous and non-intrusive, the food in the restaurant was amazing, and what an amazing breakfast! i'd highly recommend getting one of the cottage suites. The view from that cannot be described in text. You just have to be there.

The property is outstanding, gorgeous, well kept and offers stunning views of umiam lake. Staff was extremely warm, attentive and courteous. We had a lake view room and had an extremely relaxing stay! the one small drawback we had is on the noise decibels. Right below our balcony, their is general seating available for guests to enjoy the view or dine. Because this when there are large groups who are seated their (instead of indoors) the noise decibels is very high, loud and clear and we couldn't enjoy our evening time in the balcony for couple of hours. Hope the property takes small precautions around this.

Excellent property. Would recommend the lake facing cottages for their view. The staff was excellent and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended.

Had a memorable stay. Surroundings are clean and it’s away from the hustle of city life. It’s away from the city so let you feel completely cut off from the outer world. Food and hospitality is their usp. Stairs might trouble some but golf cart is available on request.

Excellent stay, the view of lake umiam was stunning. Our room i would rate as 7 star, it would be difficult to find anything like it in metros. I can't really find anything bad to say about the place, just a caution to travellers to be careful while walking on varnished wood stairs, they can be slippery. The bathroom tiles were a bit slippery when wet, as smooth tiles tend to be. Staff were polite and helpful. When you look outside in the mornings, the mist, green hills and lake make you feel as if you are looking at a scottish loch

One of the most beautiful resorts i heave ever visited. Everything is just perfect in ri kynjai, its location, ambience, food, hospitality. The best thing is the behavour of the staff, all are very polite helpful and welcoming in nature. It's a highly recommendable place.

Me, my wife and kiddo stayed at the resort for 1 day to celebrate my wife's birthday. The overall experience was amazing. They upgraded my room from forest view to lake view. The front desk lady was charming, all the staff were very polite and courteous. The food was great. The complimentary breakfast was also too good

The stay at ry kinjai was the best part of our trip. The property is beautifully done and located right at the top of umium lake. The view is mesmerizing and the one of a kind. The hospitality of the staff was wonderful. The best part was the food of the hotel also, the food was really good. Definitely will plan another visit )

The lakeside property offers stunning views, spacious rooms with comfortable bathrooms, and exceptionally friendly staff providing prompt service. A minor suggestion to the owner/manager would be to consider upgrading the tv quality and adding fridge to the rooms. Also, don't miss out on trying the delicious local cuisine during your stay!

This resort is a revelation. It was suggested to us by a close friend and we will ever so be thankful to him. We had 2 lake view room with us. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and exotic. The resort is small with 17 guest rooms - out of which 5 are cottages. It can be listed as a small luxury property at meghalaya. It’s proximate to the airport and away from central shillong. The local name for umiam lake is bad a paani. It’s a tourist spot and people come to the other side of the lake to view the scenic beauty, which you can view from the comfort of your room. It’s very quite resort. Restaurant is basic but service is attentive. Don’t miss it.

Beautiful by the lake and an absolute serene. Amazing architectural details with all natural elements. The vibe is very rustic and close to nature but everything is done very tasteful with class and elegance. Nature luxe beauty by the lake. Wonderful property. Staff is very friendly and helpful, makes you feel good and yet in their traditional being.

Great location. Good staff and services. Good cleanliness. Food also very nice. Only one minus was that for elder persons (60) the walk down to and from the restaurant was a task. Suggest to put a lift. Overall good stay and happy feeling
