Royal Karhandla Resort is excellent place to stay just few meters away from Park gate. Staff is very caring and facilities are excellent.

We had good stay. The staff are courteous and very helpful. This resort is about a km away from kharandala gate. We stayed here but had safari from goathangoan gate which is about 50 kms away from this resort. There is one or two properties coming up but till then this is a good option. Resort swimming pool could have been cleaned better and was not up to our expectation.

Resort location: 4 pool: 4 food: 3 room service: 2 room maintenance: 1 room didn't have towels, glasses, tv didn't have cable recharge, poorly maintained rooms, blankets were dirty. Definitely not a 3 star hotel experience. But the pool area was great, outdoor area, garden was pleasant, karhandla gate is just 2 minutes away.

Good location for karhandla safaris, however keep your expectations low

Excellent location - - about a km away from the karhandla gate of the um-red tiger sanctuary. Good jio signal in rooms so internet access for those with a jio sim is fine. Rooms are large. On the flip side - rooms are poorly maintained - floor is stained and feels dusty, huge number of insects of all kinds in the room likely due to housekeeping staff keeping the doors open when cleaning. Shower water pressure is abysmal- it’s just a trickle. Chairs in my room has marks as if someone had left a lit cigarette or something hot and melted the plastic.

Resort firstly gave the manager's room which was not good at all as the hotel was fully booked. Second day at around 1 pm they gave the room which was somewhat good. It was child-friendly and a decent place. There was a playground type of place where my kids enjoyed playing. Swimming pool was not clean. Insects were there, so we didn't use it after that. Facilities were good but the staff was exhausted because of the previous day's guests. Food was good. Staff had a positive approach towards there work which I felt on the second day but not on first day of our stay.
