Our sojourn at daldali cottage in the rukhad buffer zone* was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we were greeted by our gracious hosts, *zainab and ketan, we experienced a level of hospitality that epitomizes elegance and warmth. The cottage, ensconced amid-st the lush forest, offers breathtaking vistas of both lake and woodland, creating an idyllic sanctuary for nature enthusiasts. The location’s unique charm lies in its potential for wildlife encounters. We were thrilled by the distant roar of a passing tiger, a sound that reverberates with the untamed spirit of the wild. Though we did not glimpse the elusive tiger, past guests have been fortunate enough to witness tigers and leopards in their natural habitat. Designed to harmonize with the surrounding beauty, the cottage provides an unparalleled sense of tranquility, especially as night falls. This serene environment, though possibly daunting to some, is perfect for those who revel in the quiet symphony of nature. For guests who prefer a different ambience, jal mahal is highly recommended. The culinary experience was equally impressive. Each meal was meticulously prepared to cater to dietary preferences and served in charming wooden baskets, allowing us to dine amid-st the splendor of the jungle. This unique dining experience adds a delightful touch to the stay. For the adventure seekers, a jungle safari organized by the resort is a must to avoid any logistical hassles. We embarked on two safaris, exploring *teliya* and *karmajhiri, However, we found that spending more time at the cottage, soaking in its serene beauty, was more rejuvenating. In summary, daldali cottage offers a 5-star experience, masterfully blending comfort, adventure, and the raw allure of nature. It is an unmissable retreat for anyone venturing to pench.

Thrilling experience at lakeside camp! the manager and staff very cordial. Food is excellent. Took a trip to daldali camp and it is marvelous and situated inside buffer zone.

Our stay is rukhad was awesome, it was calm and serene. Due to lack of interest it gave us time to unwind and have a great talk with each other. The food too was great and very tasty. Would definitely be visiting again.

Days and nights in the heart of the forest

It was a serene experience. We stayed at daldali machan wherein we were the only ones present. We visited during full moon nights and could see the forest and the lake draped in silver moonlight. We were greeted by deers in the mornings and woke up to the call of the birds. The food was homely and tasty. The hospitality was warm.

It’s a perfect stay for any one who loves nature, bring a book and soak in the nature. Not for some one who loves many events and features. It’s in the buffer zone and the team is very helpful, we had safaris in touria which is 30mins away, they arranged everything and ensured we reached on time. Food is available at near by bison retreat you can either go there or have it served at the room. Very helpful staff - keep up the good work.

Stayed at rukhad jungle camp- pench wildlife sanctuary on 14&15 dc 23. First night i stayed in their jal mahal room which is inside the rukhad buffer zone overlooking a large water body. The room was cosy and tastefully done, bed was super comfy and the sit out was the highlight. Dinner was arranged at the machan and the variety and taste was excellent. Staff attending to us were very polite and being locals they had lots of interesting stories to share. Second night i stayed at their daldali machan unit which is a two level two room setup further inside the rukhad buffer zone, this place was the best jungle stay experience i have ever had so far. The rooms are on the banks of a large water body and there is complete seclusion from civilization, the only sounds you hear are of the jungle. I got to see a family of sambar deer, spotted deer, many different birds and also calls of wild dogs and a stranger meowing from deep within the jungle. If you enjoy the thrill of wildlife this place is a must have experience. Overall the rukhad camp is an excellent place to stay in pench wildfire sanctuary.

The property was just like a dream, JalMahal was extremely calming, relaxing and beautiful, Sandeep sir treated us very well, one Rohit sir also made sure that we have all the things we need and also that we must not have any problems. Overall experience was just mesmerizing. I am a jungle person I have stayed at many properties, now my favorite is Rukhad Jungle Camp. ❤️

Great place for those who want the wild camp feel. Surrounded by forests and it's animals. A dedicated team who love the animals around them and really try to make your trip a memorable one.

The location of the jal mahal cottages are fantastic right on the banks of the water body. The place is clean and adequately equipped for 2 to 3 nights of stay. The sleeping arrangements are good. The bathroom is clean but could be better lit. The bathroom is not equipped with a hairdryer. The toiletries could have been replenished. In terms of the room it doesn't come with wifi as mentioned. As the cottages are in the buffer zone area there is no phone network. Therefore some connectivity in the room would have a good feature. The service from the staff is decent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner gets delivered to your room or you can go and eat at the restaurant (bison treat) the choice is yours. Food if it's included in the package is sufficient and very decent in quantity. The variety of food is usual which is found in such remote areas but quality is very good and freshly made. Overall a good stay for those wanting to absorb the experience of staying inside a jungle.

Family with little children must do detail enquiry before visit.

This is not suitable property for family with kids. You can be in a jungle with limited facilities no network limited access with other people if you love jungle and enjoy loneliness then this is a must visit place. Managers are very helpful and co operative.
