I recently had the pleasure of staying at s river resort, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful views of the river and a peaceful atmosphere that provided the perfect getaway. The resort is well-maintained, clean, and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. One of the standout aspects of my visit was the food. Every meal was a treat, with a variety of dishes that showcased fresh ingredients and local flavors. The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into each dish, and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste. From the breakfast spread to the delicious dinner options, every meal was an experience in itself. I especially loved how the menu offered a balance of local specialties and familiar favorites, making it easy to find something to enjoy. The staff also deserves a mention for their warm hospitality and attentive service. They were friendly and professional, always making sure i had everything i needed. If you're looking for a serene escape with exceptional food and service, i highly recommend s river resort. It was a memorable stay !

The s river resort is located at 15 km approx from. Cochin airport on backwater of beautiful lake the food is awasom and vibes are awasome. Must recommend. The pool is clean and clear water, staff ms. Joicee is supportive

Great location, conveniently situated near cochin airport. Very good service and food. Peaceful view and locality. Clean rooms and great service! Recommended for a fun friends get-together!

The property was so good love to visit next time, pool was so clean and a nice backyard, only problem with the reception, won't be there to pick up the call during evening time. Rooms and bathroom was so elegant even the colour theme was so good.

Ambience is very nice. Nice place to sit and relax. Activities are very less only you can try fishing, carrom and tt, outside activity need to be increased like boating. Food is avergae.

This resort is placed at a very good location for a 1 day retreat. It is by bank of periyar and so the view is good and ambience ia soothing. The time i visited, i was told that maintainance is on going. Hence, i felt the place was not well maintained. I would suggest reading others opinion too before making a decision on this. At night, lights were turned on and it looked beautiful. There were not much to do there. Sports room only had carroms and table tennis. I was told during checkout that chess and fishing were other activities available. I suggest they promote what activities are available so guests know. Staff behaviour and support was the best. I went with my 1 year old child. They were very supportive in providing food for him as per our requests, be it steamed banana or boiled eggs. Menu also had food that was appropriate for a child. They also asked if we needed baby bed. I really appreciate it. It is good for a 1 day retreat, not more than that. If you stay for more than a day, visit nearby rice fields and cherai beach.

Food was good and rooms were spacious enough. But the washroom was stinking and poor room service. Also there were stray dogs and cats in the premises. Poorly maintained, surrounding area looked dirty, lots of flies in the restaurant area.
