The rooms were very clean, the caretaker was very attentive and the meals were very tasty. The view from the villa and the treehouse were worth every penny spent on them

Wonderful villa very well maintained. The approach road is a little tricky may get worse during the rains. The care taker family was very nice and made delicious maharashtrian meals. We loved the place

Amazing place to stay with a beautiful view of the valley and lake. The villa is tastefully decorated and plenty of comfortable seating arrangements to enjoy the view. Well-curated lawn with flowers. Caretaker santosh is a gem of a person and took care of every need to make our stay most comfortable and enjoyable. Food is also very good and very reasonably priced. Only problem is the approach road for which suv is recommended. Overall had an amazing stay with exceptional hospitality.

This was one of our best homestay experiences. Santosh bhaiya and madhuri di are extremely thoughtful hosts/couple who went on and beyond to make our stay comfortable and more importantly memorable. I love purr poli and when my wife mentioned it to santosh bhaiya, he surprised us with packed purr poli and local maharashtrian sabji for our journey, after checkout. We took a treehouse room which had an exceptional view. Even the garden maintained is breathtaking! to top it off food prepared by madhuri aunty deserves a trip on its own. I very highly recommend this place if you wish to have a peaceful stay with exceptional view and home cooked food. The only con i would say was the road to reach the homestay is bit narrow and bit difficult for big cars, but that is a very small stretch other than that everything is best and great.

The location n ambience of the place is simply beautiful. Well kept gardens. We enjoyed good food. The service is more like at home n not a hotel. It's a give and take. The caretaker his wife and staff were ever helpful and eager to serve us. The hillside was filled with the sound of chirping birds. A great way to wake up. Unfortunately they were burning the brush n the smoke was troublesome.

An amazing stay! the villa is gorgeous, rooms are large & airy. Furniture is comfortable and plentiful - there are 2 different sofa sets (indoor & outdoor, 2 dining tables (indoor & gazebo) and an entire area with swings & rocking chairs overlooking the valley! beautiful views & excellent food & service from the caretakers.

The saffron-stays veranda h was a wonderful experience. The treehouse and its view was marvelous. The care-taking family is very nice, courteous and ever smiling. It is a must visit location.

One of the best saffron-stays villa we had the pleasure to stay at. We travel-led as a group of two couples and stayed here for two nights. The villa itself is really well made and well maintained with clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The valley view terrace, veranda and gardens are just gorgeous with the perfect sunrise and bird watching spots. The support staff cook some of the most delicious meals and provide the best service. You can also request for a bonfire to warm your cold evenings! we will definitely be visiting this property again.

We took the tree house here! the view was breathtaking and the property was well maintained by welcoming, smiling care takers madhuri and santosh! this is a perfect gateway for all the people who love nature, peaceful atmosphere, perfect view of dam water and mountains! gardening is cherry on the cake which refreshes the mood! attention to details is very much appealing! food was the highlight! with home made lovely food the complete stay was worth it! highly recommended!

The hotel is at a very beautiful location, i have been to mahabaleshwar before also but this stay made this trip the most amazing one. The staffs are also very helpful and good, food was great. Overall it was a wonderful stay.
