Sansa by the woods was a lovely stay at Mussoorie complete with heritage rooms and an amazing view.
We got a large room name Arya which was heritage British and renovated. The receptionist said it was at least 150 yrs old.
The room was terrace facing with a view of Mussoorie.
Pros:
1. Room was spacious with 2 double beds, perfect for family of four (thiugh we were 3).
2. The bathroom was separated into shower area with a bathtub and a separate one for toilet. Plenty of hot water in sink as well as bath.
3. Rooms were cosy as it gets pretty cold at night.
4. View is aweosme. We spent lovely time on the patio that looks over Mussoorie, woods, green step fields. The patio is very well decorated with lovely metal chairs , benches and a swing.
5. The restaurant is lovely, well decorated and also with a fine view.
6. This place is very close to the Mall road and also not too far from Landour.
7. There was complementary breakfast.
8. Plenty of space for parking.
9. Food from restaurant was good although we didn't try a lot of variety.
Cons:
1. The room service was little slow and the towel quality could be better.
2. The exit cuts directly on the main road and people need to be careful while getting their cars out.
3. The breakfast buffet was alright but lacked variety and needs to be improvised. They could provide premade tea and coffee both and choice of eggs.
4. The restaurant service is rather slow.
Overall the pros outweigh the cons and Sansa is a lovely stay for a reasonable price.
