Must visit if planning a stay at kannur the staff are very friendly and cater to the request direct access to the beach is a plus and its very calming.

"i had the pleasure of staying at seashell haris beach home in kannur, and i must say, it was an exceptional experience! the location offered stunning ocean views, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, with comfortable furnishings and all the necessary amenities. But what truly made our stay stand out was the outstanding food and service. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. From the delicious local cuisine to the warm hospitality, every aspect of our stay was top-notch. Although there's no direct beach access, the beautiful ocean views from the property made up for it. I highly recommend seashell haris beach home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway in kannur. 5 stars isn't enough - i'd give it 10 if i could"

Very fine experience. We loved the location of the homestay. The hospitality of the host was commendable. Also, the food was very traditional and delicious. If someone has never had traditional kerala food, he must have the kerala food here for sure.

This is one of the loveliest homestay on the beach. After travel-ling around south india it is great to stay at this lovely homestay to relax in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation is old and rustic and in an amazing setting overlooking the ocean and a beautiful quiet beach. Each room has a lovely balcony with a superb view. What draws us back here is the welcome that we got from nandan and iqbal and the delicious home-cooked food. We think that the food here is the best we have tasted especially the local cuisine. Meals are taken at the communal dining table with iqbal on hand to let you know what each dish is, there is always plenty of choice. Eating communally gives you the opportunity to talk to your fellow guests and learn about their travels. We loved relaxing in the hammocks in the sit out area by the sea but we also enjoy walking and exploring and from here you can walk in many directions, last but not the least the property owner harris was a surprise host who welcomed us as his family by offering us some farm grown jack-fruit and suggested us some great cuisines to taste as his property.

A great place to stay with family and friends. Absolutely safe. This stay is a combination of the best location and hospitality. Food is also good but i would try some other good restaurants nearby to get more variety.

This property is right on the beach, with private access to a very neat and clean sunset beach. Awesome property, neat and clean, especially the royal room which we stayed in, with a sit over balcony right on the beach. Food is limited but awesome, and authentic kerala cuisine is served in the breakfast. Kid friendly food is offered on request and the care takers are very humble and decent. Very helpful. They even arranged a cab to the airport on request on time. Overall it was a wonderful stay, though we stayed for just one night.

We had a great experience in staying at seashell - haris beach home. The ambience is great. The view is good. Clean rooms. Good staff. We could sit all the day at the balcony or open restaurant and relax enjoying the sea view with the snacks. We had best experience.

Everything was very nice. Location, people, staffs, food. Just beside the beach, excellent view of sunset. The home cooked breakfast with lots of local cuisine option is big plus point. All the staffs are always smiling. Kerala itself is very beautiful state and people from kerala are extremely helpful and courteous. I would like to visit again. On the first evening it was but loud as a ceremony was going on. Management could have managed it better. Except that it was an excellent stay.

What a place. Even though the place is not luxury in terms of setting, that's exactly what makes the place so charming. Of course, the incredible attitude and friendliness of the owner of the place, haris, is the heart of the place.
